I never saw for one moment why we offered £8m+ for him. I'd much prefer he communicated with the players. Roeder should have changed our formation today after 5 minutes. Liverpool over ran us from the first minute and we should've pulled Shola back into midfield to stop them having the middle to themselves. I wonder why no one ever gets as far as Alan Shearer in the post match criticism. He was deplorable today and offered nothing over the ninety minutes. Yet Shola (only marginally better by virtue of actually scoring a goal) gets subbed. Upon reflection - if I was Rafa thinking my team wasn't scoring enough I think I would seriously consider Bellamy to be a better option than Owen. Would you want a player who would get you goals and run through the proverbial brick wall for you or a striker who's concern is being fit for the next England game? (goals as well, but with the heart elsewhere) I would choose Bellamy every time. His game has moved to another (higher) level since he departed - thanks Graeme you cunt.

Sadly for us - he's a much improved player now. Probably just a coincidence that the saddoes who are glad to see him gone (and the Toon weakened) are the very same who think that Dyer will amount to anything more than just being a plain and simple cunt.

Don't worry fellas Shearer and Dyer more than make up for Bellamys loss. Both worthy of NEW contracts yet are in fact worthless to the Club.

Bellamy is prized away from Ewood Park next season by whoever (Us - hopefully) then how much is he worth now? £10m would be my guess.
