The day he signed I posted a thread called "Scott Parker - waste of money!" Though I thought the transfer fee was about par for the course I thought the fee + wage was extartionate. He'll cost the Club something approaching £20m over the duration of his 5yr(?) contract. I couldn't see what he could bring to the team to be of £20m value - and I still can't. Similar when Emre signed - I suggested his goal scoring record for his previous 3/4 season left a lot to be desired for what we all think of as an attacking and creative midfielder. Perhaps Roeders assertation last week regarding the Club doing their homework on players before shelling out the multi-millions is quite an accurate one.

I went onto the website to purchase 5 tickets for the Shearer testimonial last Saturday. Only single seats available so made 5 separate purchases of £25 + £2 = £27 per ticket. So this morning I recieve the tickets in 1 envelope with a 29p post mark on it. So NUFC have charged me £10 to post the tickets which were delivered in a 2p envelope with 29p postage costs. So making £9.69 profit on my transactions. Thats a fucking disgrace to be honest.
