Homemade Indian trio today.

Chicken and aubergine curry (cooked in red thai curry paste and veg stock until all the liquid has just evaporated)

Brøndby Aloo (potatoes, tomato and bacon)

Curry-roasted Okra (marinate in oil, cumin, chilli flakes, turmeric and cinnamon then roast 30 minutes on 200)

Awesome. :D

I'm actually looking forward to the next time him indoors goes away so I can gorge myself silly on veggie curries all week long. That said, I'm tempted to Brøndby them up now...

Okra is immense, one of my favourite veggies. I had some in my homemade curry this evening. That roasted version sounds particularly nice too.

I can't believe I'd never tried bacon in curries before! Soon it'll be all the rage.

We've had a few new mams at work who have taken their placenta home to bury in the garden but none that have taken it to eat as far as I know.

how does the placenta fairy know where it's burried to dig it up and leave a quid in its place?

Ooo, I never thought of that! Maybe I'll start taking the unwanted ones home and make a bit of cash..

(If my boss is reading - I'M JOKING!)
