He brings players to the club aswell. i remember when martins signed he said the main factor was to play with michael owen Aye he brings a lot to the club that is directly to do with playing... whether that's been worth the cash we've paid him to us I dunno. Hopefully, if it's true, he's a starter in the short-term and cover in the long-term (i.e. next season and beyond). He's a much better bet than Smith and Ameobi and he'll probably play a lot as at least one of Owen, Martins and Viduka will be injured a lot of the time you'd guess.
