I still wouldnt discredit someone's faith because of them though Fair enough, I probably didn't word things well, but I guess my feeling is those photographs feel pretty contrary to a human-like personal God that is favoured by the Abrahamic religions. And regardless, they are beautiful. A lot of people seem to feel the physical world we live in is somehow dull, and therefore feel the need to invent supernatural and mystical forces etc. Pictures like these show the real world is wonderful enough as it is imo, and it is science and technology that has made them possible, let's not forget that. Have to laugh at one of the comments posted underneath - not really for his views, but the indignation is brilliant: Personally, I'm insulted that people assume this is created by science. Obviously, a divine being must have created this, because something this complex must have been created by something even more complex, and I will completely disregard that an extension of my logic shows it to be quite false. But seriously, why do religious guys get to claim this is the work of your Christian God, when it's obviously a manifestation of Mithra, created by the almighty Ahura Mazda, as laid out by the prophet Zoroaster, long before some dude climbed a mountain and brought down some commandments given to him by a burning bush, and even longer before another dude got nailed to a cross.
