Wavey Davey 0 Posted July 30, 2010 Share Posted July 30, 2010 strikes me as being really obvious, but why don't these people do a branded, and unbranded. i'm guessing because the sponsor might have a say. i'd buy an unbranded top, but haven't bought a home one for us since the 2001 season. Adidas did it 2 season ago. That would be this: Don't remember an unbranded versoin. It mya have been a year either side. Someone posted pics on here, do a search TBF you made the statement which I think isn't so. The burden of proof isn't on me. YOU do the search. It just mattered a whole lot less to me! Not that I can supply pics but the adidas shirt before the last was available from the US, via soccer.com, without sponsor badging. We have an adidas disposal store in the outer suburbs of Sydney and it often has "sample" Newcastle shirts which are always without the sponsors badging. They had the purple away strip from two seasons ago a couple of weeks ago. I might swing by there tomorrow and see if they still have one (I'll get pics).
