Wouldn't take long for FIFA to crumble without the big clubs and no european national sides. They probably wouldn't even miss a world cup. Aye, For all the power that UEFA has, the landscape changes now that VISA are expressing concern. He's running a very cosy corruption ring and is making a lot of corrupt people very rich - the same people that vote him in every year. Everyone else on the planet except the people who he's enriched, knows he's an evil old cunt. Thats not being a good politician, it's just being a good criminal. We could see a Darts style split, with different sponsors backing different world cup tournaments broadcast by rival media conglomerates, with different teams in each one. FIFA can have their Qatar/Russia tournaments with the teams who decide to stick with FIFA, and the new body can have theirs in more sensible places. He may be safe from the Feds if he was savvy enough to launder his money through the Clinton Foundation (like the folks in Qatar), as the Feds won't go anywhere near the Foundation.
