How many forwards to City want?

They need to concentrate more on bulding up there fragile defense. Dunne is an own goal machine and has become more of a liability, Micah is stuck in Cyprus and Zabaleta is incosistent. They've wasted there money on Barry and Cruz wasn't exactly a necessity.

Barry was needed. Cruz was needed until they bought Tevez and Adebayour.

However they do need a good CB. However I see them getting one once Terry rejects a move.

quite a few man u fans I know are very angry that Tevez has gone to city

seem to feel he owes them something

He owes them fuck all! It was King Fergie who chose him to camp on the bench throughout the season, good luck to him.

Aye shocking decision by Ferguson, I mean what was he thinking picking a team that won the league? :icon_lol:

Bellamy won't get a game by the looks of things unless its off the bench.

Aye was ready to spit the dummy when he thought he was going to be competing against Rooney, a past it Kluivert, an ageing Shearer and the mighty Shola.

Will be surprised if he hangs around long with the likes of Robinho, Tevez, Adebayor and Santa Cruz...

well I think so, point not that they won the league more that Tevez owes man u or its fans nothing considering he was left on the bench all the time and they chose to let his loan run out without signing him

They didn't need Barry, Ireland showed he could do the job better last season.

I don't rate Cruz.

as much of a money grabbing sicknote greasy paraguayan radio bitchin mexican wannabe leech that he is.....on his day he is unplayable, and apparently he really rates you.

Apparently Allardyce rates Veiri :icon_lol:

I agree they didn't need Santa Cruz. I think they just bought Barry because they could and knew he was available to piss off Liverpool. Whats the odds on Santa Cruz sitting on the bench too.

When they sign Adebayor pretty likely.

Bellamy will also be getting the golf clubs out of the shed as we speak.

Villa agree deal to sign Downing

Middlesbrough are believed to have agreed a fee in the region of £12m for the transfer of England winger Stewart Downing to Aston Villa.

The 24-year-old has made over 200 appearances for his home-town club since making his debut in 2002.

He is currently recovering from foot surgery, which is likely to sideline him until October at the earliest.

His future at Boro had been the subject of much speculation since the club's relegation to the Championship in May.

Downing, who has 23 England caps, signed a new five-year deal in February 2008 but, with Middlesbrough struggling last season, he had a written transfer request rejected in January.

However, he had been promised by chairman Steve Gibson that he could leave if a big club came in at the right price and since Boro's relegation he had been linked to Tottenham and Everton.

He suffered the foot injury against Villa in the penultimate game of the season but his recovery has taken longer than expected and he will return to his specialist in September to have a screw removed before he can return to full training.

Crazy money :icon_lol:

his stats from last season are mind boggling

in a bad way

37 league games

0 goals

3 assists

82(20) shots(on target)

=£12m apparently

Jonas is pretty similar before anyone mentions it except he played 23 games and 7 as a sub

Waste of money considering they've got Young and Milner who also did a better job.

thats just it, I can only see him on the bench since he'd be battling Young who is one of the best wingers in the league
