We are still missing Shola and Jonas but Alan Smith is back after his 1 match ban and new loan signing Zurab Khizanishvili should make the squad. manctoon 0 Posted September 18, 2009 Share Posted September 18, 2009 Yep. 4-4-2 for me as well...not fussed whether it's Ranger or Lovenkrands up front...there are arguments for both starting. By all means, bring Nolan on for an aerial threat if it's 0-0 with half an hour to go, but you'd think Plymouth will leave enough gaps at the back for two strikers to have a decent go at them. Ranger did nothing to deserve to be dropped on Weds and I would like to see him start. He only got a brief run out. If anything, Carroll was poor at retaining the ball and deserves to be dropped. Pleased about this! Hughton actually resisting to play Butt and going for what i would think is a 4-4-2...Geremi on right, Barton on left, smith and nolan in the middle.
