That's what annoys me - if it's bad enough to stay at home - then GET IN it's snowing but it never is & it's just a massive pain getting to and from work.

 

Especially as Durham has the knack of coming to a complete stand still as soon as a snowflake hits the deck.

So we'll be having an impromptu visitor tonight. A friend is landing from New York at 8:30pm and her friend from Salisbury who she's meant to be staying with for the weekend has point-blank refused to come and pick her up because there'll be two inches of snow between now and then. :lol:

Very thick snow where I am (Newbury). Went into work and was sent home so the lads can get to wherever they live for the weekend. Fortunately I live 200m from camp..bonus.
