Still leaves a bitter taste this like. While I appreciate the marketing potential through their eyes I've always maintained that it would never sell. the only way this would ever work is for someone to buy the rights and rename the ground back to SJP. Marketing fuck up imo. I'd love to know just what SD pay for their tacky shite plastered all over.

Not happy but old hat now for me.

Very sad to see this sort of attitude.

It will and should always be SJP.

Of course it should but after everything thats gone on over the last few years theres just no point getting worked up over something you cant do anything about.

Amazing how much they're able to string out the furore over this shit.

It's well over 2 years now since they decided to "showcase" the possibilities, and still, they drag it out so that every 3 months there's more press on it. I thought it was odd all the SJP signage was still up months ago. Hardly demonstrates the potential of the opportunity.

The marvellous thing is that even the club still keep calling it SJP, when they want to play on the fans emotional attachment to the place and use the history of the club to profit.

The official site calls it SJP in several places....

http://www.nufc.co.uk/page/Tickets/StadiumPlan

http://www.nufc.co.uk/page/Events/ExperienceDays

http://www.nufc.co.uk/page/RoutePlanner

etc.

I hope the letters are sold and kept by someone, so when the FCB goes they can be put back up.

 They're hardly the work of a master stonemason, are they?
