That's fukin nonsense as well. NR were operating in the same deregulated market as other lenders.

Whats that got to do with it though?...Wonga didnt exist till 2007...is that a coincidence?...we didnt utter a dicky bird about NR causing this government to slash everything to the bone which in all likelyhood forces people to go to the likes of Wonga....and as you pointed out theyve existed for a very, very long time in one form or another, and that "market" in particular is usually regulated by fuckin baseball bats. As a group of supporters, we cant stay silent about NR and then throw our hands up about Wonga, its hyporcritcal iyam.

Defending what? A new shirt sponsor? If it was Bet Fred you wouldn't give 2 shits

These are loan sharks right? They take money out of the bank directly if you are one day late and keep doing it till you contact them. They encourage the vulernable to 'roll over' the loan. These are scum man. Think about it a minute.

No they aren't loan sharks. They don't break your legs If you don't pay. And why exactly shouldn't they be allowed to take their own money back. Its not hidden small print that when you borrow money you have to pay it back. I should people be let off with it because they spent it all?

You carry on as if they're lending to people who are in a situation where they are making rational financial decisions on a laptop using excel you clown.

Of course am not read what I've posted man. Without the financial crash I doubt if Wonga wouldve been big enough to sponsor a dograce at Brough Park. One caused the other. And iyam NR and RBS have caused a lot more misery than Wonga ever will. They know their market, most of whom won't have to google individual voluntary agreement.

You do realise that a lot of vulernable and desperate people play one last minute lender off against another and have rollovers of the loan and so on?

And who creates the pressure where they need to do that ??

Why did credit card companies, regularly and unrequited increase customer credit limits and get folks to transfer balances etc etc.

How can high street banks authorise a debit card transaction that puts someone £1.75 overdrawn and then charge them £30 unauthorised overdraft fee, debited immediately, to the account (as happened to my son a couple of years ago). btw when he challenged it the local bank blokey he said there was nowt he could do and he should consider himself lucky as there was another customer who'd been out of the country for 3 months who'd miscalculated and her bank charge bill had hit the account and put her O/D and he was trying (without luck so far) to get "head office" to agree to waive the several hundred pounds in charges that had rolled in.

A sensible person who needs money for a car repair bill is fair enough but that's not the dark side of the business.

As Parky said its people getting loans from two or three of them to pay each other off and being encouraged to roll them over every month. That's when the Apr will hit.

Also if you take a day off you will see how full the tv is of their ads - obviously targetting recent job lossers, part timers and the unemployed.

As you clearly illustrate without having the self-acualisation to realise it banks loan to people who are capable of fighting back. These other scum are predators who feed off the vulernable. Are they not?

 Strange reasoning as we sit in the middle of the world biggest financial crisis caused by banks lending to people who couldn't afford the loans.

This sends out all the wrong signals. The club has a duty to interact positively with the community not give ad space to vultures rummaging through the pounds and pennies of people who find themselves on hard times. This is absolutely wrong on every fuckin level.
