The only conclusion I can draw is that this is what the government want to achieve whilst controlling the narrative and shifting blame for the inevitable bad consequences. Cummings doesn't really have any personal beliefs that I'm aware of. This is just an interesting project for him, he seems to derive pleasure from "the game" per se, much like Johnson does for power in itself. You can get a canny synopsis of Brittania Unchained from Amazon. I haven't read it all, it's too badly written, and I previously thought far fetched. The vision is highly disturbing though, very dystopian. They are the true haters of the UK, the real traitors. And one of the authors is home secretary.
