They’ve rolled out the full line up of cunts in the papers today. They can keep saying that No Deal is a real possibility but the EU knows just as well as we do that it simply isn’t an option so they’re fooling no one on the other side.

Hey CT, what do you think of farage's comments we need to sacrifice manufacturing in this country as its "only" 10% of GDP? (Compared with fishing which is 0.1%).

This is the man who was the chief instigator of Brexit. Still think it's a good idea? Of course you do.

Boris knows he’s wrong. He didn’t even want Brexit, he wanted to appear the man of the people after what he considered the inevitable Remain result with a view to his long term political ambitions. Now he’s painted himself into a corner and the spoilt man child simply can’t admit his miscalculation and would rather fuck the country over than own up. I fucking hate this country with increasing regularity.

It's called paraphrasing tubs. Do you disagree with the author's confusions?

So one thing at least is clear now. Farage’s protest was more about the symbolism of an over-reaching EU than about livelihoods and jobs.

That seems to be your take on it too as far as I can tell. Your kids will be proud.

Anyhow, my current thoughts are time is rapidly running out and it is clear there is a group of hard liner brexiter lunatics who want us to crash out. JRM and the ERG, Johnson, Gove, Farage (no direct political power but still providing propaganda lapped up by the CT's of this world).

The EU are actively preparing for no deal now whilst we're not. If the Brexiteers keep May to her red lines much longer we'll crash out by default in March without transition. People like me who thought this would never be allowed to happen because business wouldn't allow it will be proved wrong. They've proved they don't give a shit about business and this is now finally dawning on companies like Airbus and BMW (and countless others who have so far kept quiet).

This feels more like a coup than democracy.

The fishing thing (no, not you, you fat little cunt) is hilarious like. Ignoring the tiny proportion of the economy it accounts for, even if the UK could proceed to fish what it wanted, you’d have a handful of huge trawlers operating and employing hardly anyone. And even if you went back to the more labour intensive methods which provided more employment then the charvas who complain about foreigners coming over and taking their jobs wouldn’t do it anyway so you’d need a foreign workforce. But freedom from the EU. Except when you want to go on your hols there of course. Then you should be able to act the cunt, waltz through passport control, receive free healthcare and falsify insurance claims for food poisoning. Whilst sneering at the locals for not understanding when you take the piss out of them in the regional accent of the only language you have vague grasp of.

Aye, hard to disagree. Along with German cars and prosecco, the Spanish are supposed to be putting pressure on Barnier because of tourism. They'll be able to replace the UK charvas with eastern Europeans easy enough once the 50 Euro visa kicks in.

Aye, shortly after the result the fishing industry was moaning that they needed immigrants to process the catch and wanted SM status to sell their fish into the EU. But y’know, any excuse to throw fish into the Thames.

I was visiting family in England over the weekend and got talking to the brother in law about Brexit. He isn't particularly committed to leave or remain but he was of the view that we should just get on with it. He's sick of hearing about it. He thinks there will be a few tough years but everything will even out.

I get the impression that there's a lot of people who feel that way, there's a lot of Brexit fatigue out there and not enough stomach for another fight. So stories like the above but how we're worse off simply don't register any more.

Or the time to turn public opinion has been and gone. ;)

Its not public opinion that needs to turn now tbf, it no longer matters what the people think, just what the MPs "think".

Whether In or Out we can all recognise the ability of the Beautiful Game to break down borders. Let's not get bogged down in politics and lose sight of what's important in life! Sharing great experiences and memories with others all around the globe!!! Worth checking out this video for a reminder of the power of football around the globe, within Europe and also further afield.
