Williamson is up against people who are not only better technically and quicker but stronger and better in the air  might as well dander off the pitch

Williamson is not too bad in the air but his awareness and positioning is very good which more than makes up for it imo

Shocking decision. Do not understand it at all. Why go to the linesman and if he says that he didn't see a deflection, STILL insist that there was one. Awful. Need to calm a few people down like. Sissoko is one mistiming away from a red. No doubt half time will give a chance for Man City to regroup, we will play for 10 minutes then they will get a goal and that will be that. Don't mean to sound like a pessimist but that cunt of a ref...

We're playing Man City, a club who have bought their way into incredible quality. We won't get many goal-scoring opportunities and when we finally get one, to be robbed of it is just beyond a joke.

We need things to go our way. I'm not talking about luck. If we'd scored no-one would be complaining about us being lucky. Absolutely no way were any of the offside players interfering with play. In no way was Hart's view blocked.

Lmao!!! Goufran interferring with play??? How??? What a twat.

Official line from the match officials - Goufran interfering with play so it was offside... unbelievable.

Exactly. If you're that COCK sure that you know that the keeper was impeded then why ask the linesman in the first place? Was trying to defer his intended decision onto the linesman (who in the words of Pardew was right) but when the linesman correctly adjudged it as a goal the insipid twat still went with what he wanted which was seemingly to draw all attention away from the match and the players and onto the officiating.

Completely disgusted by that. Like someone said they ref goes out of his way to make an abysmal decision when it was easier to just make the correct one, he'll get a half arsed slap on the wrist we might get an apology but we're still out possible points and he still carries on his shit job. Should have games taken off him for this at the very least.

Sadly think all the momentum and crowd pressure from the decision will have dissipated by 2nd half.

Might as well revert back to the old offside rule if they're going to enforce it like that anyway.

I guess a ball zipping past your head at 80mph while being in no ones line of sight means you're interfering. The whole Hart didn't move argument is utter shite, he just got caught rooted to the spot he was beaten hands down. Edited by Howay

Don't think so looked like the ref awarded a goal but then got waved over by the linesman.

He didn't raise his flag for offside till the ref had spoken to him. The citeh players complained, so seeing as they cost a gazillion quid each the ref did as he was told.
