I clearly need to investigate this podcast at long last but fucking hell, there's so much of it I think I'd need to retrain as an HGV driver or develop even worse insomnia to even make a dent

It'll have to be insomnia because serial killing takes up too much time for the alternative. 🙂

I have it on on dog walks. There is LOADS to get through but there's also no rush cos it's not like they're piling new episodes in too often or anything.

BTW if you start listening and you're convinced, the best way to listen to the later episodes is to pay £3 a month to their Patreon. Once they start splitting the public feed episodes into hour long chunks, there's all sorts of naming errors and stuff, so you end up listening to things in the wrong order or the end of an episode two episodes down the line has been flagged as the end of your current episode.

The Patreon media player is actually really good.

Also, the first ones are a little bit ropey in terms of audio etc. as they just started going it through Covid. I came to it late, as I was wading through the Talking Sopranos one but I’ve listened to them all, bar some added extras in Patreon, now and I only started less than a year ago. Going to listen to them all again at a more leisurely pace and watch all the playlists on YouTube too this time.

I've got the Lambrini Girls coming up in April

The big one for me though is Edwyn Collins farewell tour in October

If I only was able to listen to one artist for the rest of my life I would choose Edwyn without a seconds hesitation

I've been obsessed with him since I saw Orange Juice supporting the Undertones in 1980.

Pop genius in my opinion

You are baffling me man, have you got an actual real point or are you just being an arsehole for the sake of it?

I went to see the Sex Pistols, at the Royal Albert Hall, with their current vocalist, Frank Carter.

It was Fucking marvellous.

It was also for a bloody decent charity too.

So the singer is a bit fat with tattoos, so fucking what?

So Fuck off aye?

That crowd makes me want to commit murder. I am however a very grumpy old man.

I've seen them about a half a dozen times with various lineups, great live, no fucking about just play hard and fast. Double drummers are amazing, driving each other but also playing different things.

Must admit though when I saw them earlier this year, I think John Dwyer is now starting to believe the hype about himself and is sniffing his own farts.

Still worth seeing but the grumpy old man in me agrees with KCC their audiences are now filled with annoying cunts and they were better in the old days!

I saw the Melvin’s a few years ago, the only time I’ve seen a band with double drummers.

Thought I had gone deaf by the end of the gig
