For the life of me, I cannot understand why any European would want to set foot in the US at the moment. It has absolutely nothing to offer Europe hasn't got, it is insanely expensive, it is a neo fascist state, it is openly hostile towards us, and now it wants our toontastic accounts.

Was chatting with an old friend yesterday, she was over for visit from her home in Vancouver where she’s lived for years now. 
She was saying that prior to Drumpf’s tariff bullshit, the west coast of Canada would do most of its local trade with the west coast of US, same on the east coast, simply because it was easier than trading internally due to the vast distances involved. 
Carney is now leading a push to increase internal Canadian trade massively. 
 

( She mentioned that people just don’t realise how big Canada is, noting that the distance from where we were ( Whitley Bay) to Toronto is only a bit more than the distance from Vancouver to Toronto). 
 

Given how patriotic Canadians are, I really hope they keep this up, even when MM dies and the Right are locked up.

Would be good to bring Canada into the EU/some manner of new entity that serves the same purpose over the long term. They could do with unshackling from the US as much as we could.

Plausible but speculative. The IV line makes sense but loads of drugs are introduced that way. The frequent MRIs are odd though and no mention of the ankle oedema. He's definitely not in good physical or mental shape. I hope he doesnt see out 2026.

So what's the motive here? Isn't a large part of Trump's own empire one of a hotelier? If this goes through the effect will be huge. There's already a huge drop off from Canada.
