It might just be me being on team negative here but I think since Sunderland are the most spawny set of cunts you can ever come across and I think they'll stay up, they always fucking do.

I think they're due some shit luck, mind. Allardyce must be flapping a bit judging by his palace comments as well. Bottom line, we have to beat Villa and take it from there. Hoping Everton keep up their good record v them too.

Sunderland have had absolutely unbelievable luck for years. I can't think of a luckier club - especially the way they play the new manager bounce etc.

They deserve some shit luck &

They deserve to go down.

Definitely in the last 5 years Sunderland have been the most spawny in the pl era

Every year around this time everything goes there way, they've only lost 2 in the last 10 and a lot of that is sheer luck

They aren't really winning games though, and that's what will make the difference if anything.

Any other season I'd say they would lose to both Chelsea and Everton...

Did you see how lucky they were against Everton last year? I think it hit Graham's arse and went in the lucky bassas

I think we drew 1-1 with West Brom that day

Only won 1 in 9 mind

sunderland are difficult to beat and I can see them going the rest of the season unbeaten. Not sure I can see them winning many though. Trouble is 5pts might be enough.

If they draw with Chelsea and we beat Villa on Saturday, we'll be 3 points ahead of them. If they then beat Everton that means, we have to better their result on the final day of the season. Can you honestly see us doing that?

Based on yesterday's apparent psychological impact on Spurs, it could happen.

You can tie yourself in knots trying to work out all the different possible scenarios. But a couple of games ago, no one had a scenario in mind where we were out of the relegation zone with two games to play. So I suggest you all just shut your faces and we'll reconvene on Saturday evening when we have more information at our disposal.

It could.

But in our eagerness to find succour for hope we concentrated on Spurs being out of the title race before we met. They'll definitely be wanting to finish ahead of Arsenal, right? I'm honestly not trying to be too negative, and if we were level on points I'd have confidence, but as they've both got a game in hand, I still think it's in their hands and we're down.

When did you and Rayvin meet, and is it serious?

We used your pull-up bar/sex swing without asking and we might have knocked over that mannequin with CT's face...

Sorry, is that ok?

Yeah I get what we're doing here in terms of managing expectations but even so. I agree with your point about Sunderland being hard to beat, but the key one is that they aren't winning (which you also said tbd). If that continues we'll stay up. Even Fat Sam seems to be feeling the pressure now. I was convinced we were down until last weekend but now believe we've as good as chance as the other two.

I'll be very surprised if Sunderland get a string of results which make our remaining games irrelevant.

Seen his quotes about "foreign coaches" and injury lists? Guarantee he votes UKIP, because 'it just makes sense'.

Are we talking about my oversized replica Humpty Dumpty doll?

Well, it would wobble, but it would not fall down.

Kind of looked like the one on the far left.

Sunderland still look hard to beat. You can say Norwich looked canny against Arsenal and Sunderland didn't look that good against Stoke but I would also say that the week before they looked more likely to beat Arsenal than the other way round.

I don't think it's all impossible that Sunderland beat Everton and Watford. In which case we need Chelsea to be beat them to have any hope of it being in our hands come the Spurs game. And if Saturday showed me anything, it's that we're not going to be comfortable against anyone this season. I'm not confident we'll beat Villa let alone Spurs. And if we do beat Villa I'm not sure I can handle the last day nerves when those tramps could relegate us. I fucking hate these cunts for giving us a chance now. It was much easier to accept relegation as a formality after the Southampton game than it is deal with these scenarios now.
