I thought that was a piss take, but joyously it's not

Shades of Phil Brown bollocking his players on the pitch at half time!

Amorim gathered his whole squad behind him and eviscerated them in front of the fans! De Ligt burst out laughing

Sky are showing 80% of all games next season.

They're not. I heard the same claim and thought it odd. They're showing 215 live games next season which is a long way off 80%. I think what they're actually showing is 80% of live games with TNT showing the other 20% but they're deliberately trying to oversell it.

I think he’s been a big investor in Goalhanger Podcasts for a long while before he got involved himself.

There’s a few very popular podcasts on there.

I’m sure he’ll be back on TV soon too.

He founded the company, hence the name Goalhanger. Originally they made documentaries but began to get into podcasts with the Lineker/Baker podcast and it took off from there.

I see Brighton owner Tony Bloom's investment and data driven approach has just landed Union SG in Belgium their first title since 1935. And he's just received 98% voter approval for a 29% stake in Hearts, and will be looking to do similar there.

It’s from two years ago and it’s bollocks, especially as sports washing, as time has gone on, has been shown not to really exist in a meaningful way. As someone on that thread commented he’s not bought BHA to distract from any perceived human rights abuses, he’s a bookie ffs. He very likely has fucked people over, you don’t get billions without doing so.

His Belgian interest Union Saint Gilloise have just won the league. They loaned their striker Kabangu to Hearts in January, another club Bloom has an interest in. He got 6 in 14, started well but tailed off towards the end. They’ve just appointed Derek MacInnes as coach who is a bit meh but if recruitment can get better due to Bloom there could be good things ahead for @Toonpack’s main mob :good:

Not sure about anyone else but I scroll on awaiting information to be provided from reliable posters who have a track record of being correct, like PL for example.

You know I have many historic contacts to the Capo don’t you? I can get you rubbed out from this board with a mere look. Don’t fuck with any associate of Eddie “the executioner” Howe, capice? :cuppa:

I swear I must be missing something about TAA. What does he do to earn that place exactly? What are the supporting stats?

And Gravenberch for that matter. Most water carried?

Assists which is a KPI for a defender apparently.

Gravenberch disappears massively under the radar at Anfield thanks largely to the hype the media put on Salah & van Dijk, but he's instrumental to their team and at 23, there's plenty more to come from him.

TAA, I'm totally with you on. Don't understand the hype.

Bit of weird trivia.

Jonny Evans departure from Man Utd marks the first season in 90 years where they start a campaign without a player who has played under either Matt Busby or Alex Ferguson.

And whilst we’re on with crazy trivia.

Nottingham Forest maintains a remarkable record of including a homegrown player in every matchday squad since 1941. This record has been unbroken for 83 years and over 4,000 games.
