They can't expect any sort of dividend from the club and we're not at a level where we'd be a trophy purchase. None of it makes sense from a business perspective. She didn't necessarily walk away from Liverpool because she (or her backer) didn't have the money but because it's incredibly overpriced. Sources close to the deal have told Sky Sports News that reports Newcastle owner Mike Ashley has been given a two-week deadline to accept PCP Capital Partners’ offer are inaccurate. I don't want to say that's derisory, but it really looks it. You'd think the full weight of the playing staff in terms of market value would exceed ÂŁ70m. Ashley bought a club that had qualified for Europe in 5 out of the previous 6 seasons. We've qualified once since he took over.
