Fucking hell. Almoron

Need to see it again, at first view he was right to go down as he was about to be swamped.

Shoulder-to-shoulder (and head). So play on?

It would complete the tragi-comedy if they turn this into a pen. Strange they're taking so long to look at this one?

Even if they haven't, if ever there was a club with a chance it's us. We were never going to win this one, let's not overreact.

Still though, we're gonna be properly adrift by January.

We can't defend and we can't attack when we play any team who isn't relegation fodder. Leeds win tonight and we are 8 points adrift. If we don't take 6 points from our next 2 games then we are knackered

VAR. If he gives them this, everyone can fuck off.

I'm certain if it was 0-0 or Arsenal were down that would have been given. Probably would also have given it if there wasn't two (and potentially three) in our favour that they hadn't blown for.

If he had a right foot, he could have toe punted the cunt. Would have been a more intelligent option than standing still and waiting to be tackled

I cbf rewinding to look at the single angle we got, and it's clear we're not favoured enough to see a replay, but for me he knew the contact was coming and took it as a calculated decision thinking a FK from there was more dangerous.

Us trying to play it out from the back has looked a bad idea today. Our defenders just look bewildered by the whole concept, playing one-twos with themselves off an Arsenal player's back.

Some of them are better than others, clear that we've been training the triangle movement basics.

I agree. It's a bit 'clever' but Almeron has a right to stop in possession. The defender went through the back of him. It looked like a foul. Maybe a tad soft and I'd certainly bitch about it if it were against us but I'd bitch about because it's cheeky. But cheekily earning a foul doesn't mean it's not a foul.

I think that's the worst thing to come from this game. The result was expected, we knew about the defensive deficiencies that were exposed but the fact that we rarely put cohesive attacking passing movements together is a big worry. I'm hoping it's down to Arsenal's general speed.

At least we won't have to wait too long to find out.
