Evidently Man U have a 20% sell on clause with him so that'll drive up the price they want, he's also still got £9 Mill book debt from amortising his original fee.

i like the player but if the price is £60m of thereabouts.....i dunno. you might get semenyo for that price, who looks a more exciting prospect to me.

I think Nottingham Forest has no intention of selling and, on the contrary, will want to sign more players and strengthen their squad to try to finish in the Top 6.

Elanga, at least statistically, is their best player or the most decisive.

I don't know if they have to comply with Fair Play and get rid of any players to do so, but knowing their owner, they'd certainly go all the way to avoid having to sell, risking future sanctions.

Yesterday, during the Club World Cup, they were saying they've signed three Botafogo players for less than 40 million euros.

I'm not sure who's the more consistent of the two, they're both great on their day but can blow hot and cold. Semenyo always does well against us but from what I've seen I think I'd prefer Elanga overall. Not sure either is worth over 50M.

you definitely get an exciting prospect from

abroad for a lot less than the prices mooted for Elanga or Semenyo. We’ve been linked with Bakayoko, Kubo, Kuhn et Al but sounds like Eddie prefers PL experience this time.

We should have had a buy back clause on Anderson, seeing as we gave them the deal of the century.  £20m for a keeper as likely to get near the first team as Demis fucking Roussos.

We wouldn’t be bidding unless we’d already got word that the player is interested. Up to him now to dig his heels in and go on strike.

Sorry, I’ve just realised who he plays for.

It seems now the standard for a winger who can bag a few goals is £50-60m. I'd rather we went in for Adeyemi from Dortmund, we should have picked him up when he left Salzburg. Keith Downie suggests we are considering him, Kudus or Bakayoko

I don't know why Forest would even consider strengthening a direct rival unless they can take us to the cleaners, or are desperate for the money. Under either scenario you'd think there would be better value options out there if they don't welcome our interest. I just hope we don't waste huge amounts of time chasing a club who doesn't really want to sell, like Guehi last season.
