That's in 25 games. Across the same period, Anthony Gordon has 2 goals and 1 assist in 23 games and all 3 of those came in January. I think Gordon terrifies defenders more but Barnes has better output. Barnes will also get you a goal out of nothing. A proper poacher. I didn't realise his Dad was pro (Paul). I used to watch all the local goals (Darlo, Scarborough Hartlepool) on the weekly roundup when I was kid and remember Paul Barnes always scoring for York.
