rikko 105 Posted July 25 Share Posted July 25 I think this will keep happening to us for a while yet. Find a rough gem polish it up and have a bigger club unsettle them and grab them. It’s the depressing next step in the development. At least we have players that other clubs actually want now. As long as we get a big fee and invest wisely we’ll be move through this stage and onto to better things. When we’re big enough that other premier league clubs stop being more attractive we’ll really kick on. The last few transfer windows don’t provide much confidence that we’ve got the people to deliver this yet. Who’s the next Livramento? Who’s the next Isak? Even unproven exciting prospects are costing £30mil+ so can’t get too many of them wrong. I doubt very much that Isak will have any interest in going to Saudi.
