The chances of me watching that mess are, to quote Don King, slim to none, and Slim's just left town.

Any YouTube vid with block caps in the title is an instant no from me. Can someone please summarise?

I appreciate it probably know the answer to the latter part of this at least but...

when did this supposed 'gentleman's agreement' first surface?

and where did it originate from?

My guess would be that people heard that he was promised a new contract before Amanda left, and then that turned into a game of telephone where he was also promised he could leave.

Good! It doesn't elevate in any way my desire to let him join the fuckers - both parties need making an example of.

I'm waiting for the PFA to wade in mind you and claim we're infringing his human rights mind you.

A Liverpool fan having the brass neck to complain about a media agenda

I don't so much care about the result, I hope we give them EVERY possible reason to hate us on the 25th, into these entitled cunts.

the first time I personally heard of it was when this bindipping scouse cunt plucked it out of his smack addled brain and ran with it.

obviously the bbc gave him the platform to air this figment of his imagination and it seems to have gathered momentum since.

just wondered it was doing the rounds before august the 5th?

Fair play to him for challenging the narrative anyone pro-LFC (including large sections of the media) are trying to spin. Bullshit propaganda because 'little NUFC' won't step aside and let the bullies have the shiny toy they want to play with.

Get fucked - to all and everyone who is trying to spin this against NUFC. They're protecting their asset which they're contractually completely entitled to do.

This 👆 the scousers and their shills (and Isak) have less legs to stand on than Douglas Bader.

The level of one-sided entitlement was evident even yesterday. It's perfectly fine (which it is) for them to boo the national anthem, but don't anyone dare show disrespect to anything associated to their club.

I don't agree with the lack of silence during the moment of respect for Jota, but I can understand why some Palace fans might have done it.

25th August is going to be a toxic, hostile environment. The media spin will be that NUFC fans are being unreasonable, not understanding of a player's desires and disrespectful to Liverpool who are still mourning (when are they ever not mourning something?!) the loss of a player.

The sentiment just 5 weeks ago is that our fans would pay tribute to Jota in some way at the first home match of the season - this was almost universally supported. However their conduct since will have seen these good intentions dumped in the bin.

They'll whinge like fuck, but they've brought this on entirely themselves.

Always the victim, never the aggressor. Absolute cunts!

I think the Jota silence needs to be respected. It's a tragic thing to happen and has fuck all to do with these Isak shenanigans. Plenty of time afterwards to abuse the Liverpool team and fans.

I go back to what I said about yesterday's game - I won't be supportive of it not being respected, but I'd be understanding of it.

Do we even do a Jota silence? They start the season at home, let them do a silence and a TIFO and all that stuff and then the season starts.

No disrespect to Jota himself in this regard but it does need to be done and then finished with at some point. Surely them doing a proper tribute on the opening day at Anfield is enough?

Agreed. But if it is requested, I think things are raw and closeenough to just respect it.

Good point on when it should end mind. The MH17 thing lasted for months, made me feel quite uncomfortable.

Anyway, fortunately I'll be watching this one in Ibiza. 🍸

The minute silences will continue until morale improves and everyone feels sorry for but also simultaneously admits Liverpool is the best. They are a personified messiah complex. I hope we don't do a minutes silence. Week 1, at home, do it then. If they take it on tour it becomes a tactic. We should reply with a 39 second silence. One second for each million under our valuation of Isak their bid was or something like that.

Why are we having a minute's silence? If this was the first game after it happened and we were playing them at SJP I could understand but it isn't, will everyone playing Liverpool this season at home do it? Remarkable stuff.
