I’m pretty scared or Mbappe and Dembele.

I don't know if this typo puts you in the pissy pants wearers or the giant sausage camp? (f)or; or(f)?

Though plastic Bertrand was in fact Belgian. A rare misstep from our musical antipodean threadstarter

Um, I didn't realise John Denver was from Sheffield or Bad Company from Manchester?

It's not where their from,

It's the way that they do it.

It's not where their from,

It's the way that they do it.

And that's what gets results!

Im assuming Botman, Big Joe, Little Joe and Wilson aren't fit enough to start

              Pope

Tripper-Jamal-Schar-Burn

  Longstaff-Bruno-Tonali

Miggy                      Gordon

               Isak

Botman is the biggest concern. He's so important to how we play. Joelinton is a big loss too but the midfield looks balanced again since longstaff returned.

Hopefully Willock returns sooner rather than later as he offers something different to the other midfield options and can cover wide left if needed.

Not sure if the stats back this up but I have the impression we were at our very best last year when the two Joes played on the left together and continually swapped between midfield and attack aspects of the two zones.

Joelinton will be the biggest miss IMO. He can be an absolute animal in games like this

I still find it incredible that a couple of seasons ago we all winced when we saw his name on the team sheet, and now, we’re bemoaning the fact he might not be playing for us in the Champions League, as he’s such an integral part of our burgeoning success.

Credit rightly goes to Eddie for an extraordinary turnaround of a player, but the biggest credit has to go to Big Useless Joe himself.

He must wake up in the morning and kiss himself in the mirror

That team's kinda picking itself at the moment. Gordon wont be playing at West Ham so he should continue to drive and press like a numpty. I hope Isak is fit, like Wilson he always seems to have a goal in him even when not playing well, but on Saturday he seemed to be missing his usual skill on the ball and seemed to lack energy too.

Burn had a nightmarish first half against Burnley, he does so well in the box but outside of it the lack of pace is a liability. And pace is just about all Dembele has to offer so they'll be targeting him. Gordon will have to be right on it defensively too.

Other than that it would be great to see Tonali have a good game and get some confidence. No reason we cant beat these, imagine getting 3 points and going top early in this group :nufc:

What's the chance Eddie goes 3-5-2 with Trips and Tino playing wing backs?

He did it for a bit recently, so they must be experimenting with the shape.

midfield or Bruno, Longstaff, Anderson

front three of Almiron, Isak, Gordon

Doesn't leave us much on the bench. Murphy can come on with 20 to go to help shithouse us to a 2-1 victory
