That should be that. Fair play to Flange. I think he probably still gets sacked but this is a proper trophy for a club that don't tend to win them.

It's nee Carabao Cup!

All the Sky pundit lot insisting that "United" would win it cos they find a way. They just win trophies etc etc.

Not this Man United, lads. Prepare for an extended stay in the wilderness.

I mean Ange's one dimensional strategy is one thing but it's simply phenomenal how far Man Utd have regressed under Amorim. They were poor under Ten Hag, but they're abysmal under Amorim.

Congrats to Ange and good luck in your next job mate. As a club this is huge for Spurs, both the trophy and as a get out of jail card for their shockingly bad Premier League season.

Right Man United. If you could pull yourselves together for Sunday, that would be appreciated.

Straight back to the hotel and get your head down.

They wont have that barbecue at carrington to distract them! Sir Jim will be delighted to not have to make an extra trip to waitrose

No way will they be able to motivate themselves next Sunday. It’s their worst season for decades and the atmosphere at the theatre of dreams will be toxic.

It will be down to us to get a result on Sunday.

We've got to anyway man. I can't cope with us having to look elsewhere on the last day. Do the job ourselves and it doesn't matter.

Over £300m owed in transfer payments. Over £1bn in debt costing them 100s of millions to service. Stadium falling down. Cost savings and redundancies all over the place. They’re worse than Leeds were in 2003. At least Leeds had a squad of stars to sell! Enjoy oblivion you absolute entitled cunts!

This is outstanding

Man United financially FUCKED. Lovely stuff.

I wouldnt hold my breath in the PSR regard. They'll find a twisted way to get out of the mess and the PL will smile and nod, like Chelsea.

But the long term damage this will do to them is delightful. And obviously the impact on their chances of finishing top 5 next season.

Imagine not being able to score against Spurs. The "great" Man United unable to score in a final. It's brilliant how shit they are.

Imagine playing Spurs, and this absolutely dogshit Spurs at that, 4 times in one season and losing every single one of them

It's not just PSR I'm talking about here. They've got massive debts and their entire cost structure requires regular CL football. And now they're not even in Europe.

They're like a washed up star who is now going to have to dramatically downsize their life.

Agreed that's what I meant by long term damage to their financial health. It would be a lovely bonus if they do fall afoul of PSR as well though.

The shockingly sad thing about all this is they’ve won their first trophy in a generation, however shit they have been, but it matters little to them. They’re more interested in the fact they’re in next season’s CL. Doesn’t feel right.
