Mentally I've got us down for beating Chelsea & Everton, getting a draw at Brighton and Arsenal likely to finally get one over on us this season. So 7 points to come.

Did i read over the weekend that someone claimed the next 4 games are the biggest we've had for a long, long time?! 6 weeks after we won our first domestic trophy in 70 years?! Dear me ....

You did.

As nice as the domestic trophy is, it won’t keep Isak here this summer or bring in much needed millions to help us catch upto the “big boys”.

The next 4 games will determine if we take that next step on the ladder or remain trapped in a PSR strangle hold and a stagnant squad.

Only so many miracles EH can pull off without CL money.

Its pretty simple.

Villa likely win, obviously, but the fact they lost at the weekend means they are on the verge of being out of the running for the CL anyway.

It was an FA cup game they lost at the weekend ;)

Oops. Misspoke meant their defeat against City in midweek. That result has all but cut them adrift now you'd have to imagine.

Two big defeats with the FA Cup exit. Three with the recent CL exit. Let's count them! One, two, three big defeats for Count Chocula.

Who mentioned he'd be in with a shout for the RM job? Was that you Gemmers? I hope that happens because in all seriousness he is a very good coach and it'd be great to have him out of the PL. Villa would struggle to replace him with equal or better you'd imagine.

I hate these media darling cunts. Expect a loss with Alan Smith pumping his cock like Arnie in an action movie.

What movie's that?!

If we beat Brighton, he'll simply piss his pants about the Chelsea game. Remember these are our 'biggest games in a long, long time...'

if we lost to brighton it could be squeaky bum time for the run in. if we get a draw there and beat chelsea we're almost home. chelsea are surely going to drop some points looking at their run in and vill have too much ground to make up.

Gloom, I feel like you might be spending the next few weeks staring at fixture lists and league tables like...

I share your pain btw. When the season gets to this stage, you just want all of the remaining fixtures to just happen immediately so you know the outcome. So as a proxy for that we sit like daft cunts trying to work it all out.

I fully expect that Forest, Chelsea, and Villa are all going to drop some points between now and the end of the season and that we should be able to maintain our lead on at least two of them. But I'm not looking forward to having to watch it play out.

If Brentford take points at Forest on Thursday though, that's a big step in the right direction, particularly because of Forest's last game being vs Chelsea.

i'm loving it tbh. it's class having these conversations at this stage of the season. bring it on. even if it goes to the wire, we should beat everton on the last day of the season. that would be some climax to an unbelievable season

He could stand there buck naked and still not be done for indecent exposure.
