Bruno having to take time out his day to tell Pep he's a cunt.

I'm not sure Cascarino is right in how he's characterising Pep's conversation with Bruno, but I do think he should fuck off with his hugging and chatting Bruno up.

Hang on ! You'd be furious if we were not given a penalty contrary to the rules, when not giving it was a correct decision, and you're amazed an incorrect decision wasn't made (after a review) to reverse the correct decision ?? Aye ??

Penalty all day for me. I was astonished it wasn't given and I'd have been absolutely steaming if it had been against us

I always think Pep does that because he sees something he likes and enjoys giving feedback. Clearly it cannot be that bad or the other managers would call him out on it. I think he gets stick, from the press, for it because he is not like the other managers and not running to them and crying.

Aye I'd agree with this. I didn't really know what had happened in the ground, but when I saw the incident on a 3 minutes sky sports highlights package which had no explanation for the VAR decision, I couldn't believe it hadn't been given.

I kinda agree with the original Darren Bent mackem relegater tbh. Not a massive deal but it doesn't look great.

If Pep is doing what Cascarino says he's doing, then the slaphead needs to fuck off to be honest. Absolutely reeks of "big 6" entitlement. Quite right, he's not Pep's player, hands off and mouth shut. Cunt.

I agree with his point, it just didn't look to me like Pep was discussing performances or directing Bruno. I think he was moaning about the ref and the fact that Joelinton had just had to be dragged away from battering one of his players at full time.

But I don't like how he always makes a beeline for Bruno and gives him his headlock hockle in your ear chats.

Howe said in his press conference that they'd been told to get Joelinton down the tunnel cos he was on one. He was back on it yesterday.

It's an odd one. Foden had already missed, but the challenge was reckless, could have even been a red. Logic dictates to me Scharr should have been booked but no penalty. But aye, I'd no doubt feel differently were the boot on the other foot. Our brown bags are bigger than city's which is nice.

Somebody mentioned it the other day, but Big Joe is best against teams that want to dominate possession. I thought he was good yesterday. Must be off putting having this psycho bull charging you down time and time again.

But it wasn't, as per the rules, so how can you get wound up by a correct decision 🤷‍♂️ Foden's follow through from his shot caused the contact.

What would be annoying would be inconsistencies when/if it happens again.

The amount of times during a game he just off the ball shoves people, barges them a bit with his shoulder, puts his hand on their back or their chest and pushes them. Just these constant reminders that "here lads, I'm fucking rock and I absolutely dominate you physically". He's mint.

letter of the law: no penalty. The contact was made after the shot was away.

I’d be livid if we hadn’t got it the at the other end too mind

But knowing the rule, why ?? If it was standing leg fine, but making contact with the foot that's following though after a shot nope, an argument could be made he kicked Scharr.

I know I'm being a tad facetious but the rule was (amazingly) correctly applied so I see no grounds for angst.

I, along with most football fans, tend to be wound up by the slightest perceived injustice against my team. It seems you have transcended to a Mr Spock level of logical detachment during games. Impressive

I was worried during the game at the time of the incident but I now know the rule, so I wouldn't claim an injustice in future, that would be illogical (captain).

If this happened outside the box it would have been a foul, non?

The rules state it wasn't a penalty, therefore it wasn't an infringement, therefore no it wouldn't, what more do you need 🤷‍♂️

Outside the box if a player hits a shot and his follow through makes contact with a defender is that a defensive or attacking free kick or play on ????
