  1. Past hour
  2. I can completely agree with all this but cutting the WFA was bad politics when you’ve gone nowhere near the tax haven that is the City of London. Standing up to the bully boys in the media over something like that would’ve been better than having Nigel Farage stealing your policies and running your government less than a year after taking office..tbh if a group emerge that can persuade Burnham to stand at the next by election then Starmer is toast. That’s highly unlikely even if Burnham was willing so hopefully Starmer at best may be able to form a government with the Lib Dems in 2029. I can’t think of a single Labour cabinet member who could replace him, that’s the only thing keeping him there for the duration.
  3. Hope the BBC hasn't made the mistake of signing him for the new look MOTD.
  4. I saw a clip of (I think) Max and Paddy they go into a muslim shop with a pig. The comments were 'Imagine that now, all the woke lot would be up in arms' etc. Just comments from Gammons saying poor it is we can't have stuff like this on TV now. I mean, how would they feel if Muslims did a 'comedy show' showing them slaughtering an old man who stormed the beaches at Normandy for the 'lols'
  5. It’s prawn balls and Canadian Clubs all round in the @Howmanheyman household tonight!! 😀
  6. He's better than Farage. I was hoping for some stability, transparency and competence rather than some idealogical revolution that probably can't realistically happen in 2025. Increasingly it's looking like I have hoped for too much. Let's take winter fuel payments for instance. It was absolutely the right thing to do to scrap them imo, they're existence is not fair or logical. Poorer pensioners can be helped out in other ways. But now it looks like they are going to u turn for political reasons, and worse, they've done it in such a way it won't even help them. Terrible comms, naive political instict, and no back bone will cost them and possibly let Farage in if we're not careful, who of course is offering the moon on a stick. Then we'll have something to complain about. The only saving grace is we're 4 years away still, anything can happen.
  7. Forest… a sad sack of counter attackers now shown in stat form. Leicester played similarly when they won the title in 2016 but they had the advantage of 2/3 world class players.. Kante, Mahrez and arguably Vardy. Forest had Chris Wood, Anthony Elanga and Ryan Yates…
  8. It's not really telling us much though. Pitching distance covered against number of sprints. As is alluded to it provides possible explanation for injuries. There'd be far more value if one of these was pitched against a measurable outcome - goals, points, etc.
  9. Funny you should say that as I then went on Tik tok as saw this. A very scary 10 seconds
  10. Interesting graphic - 3rd in the number of sprints and also distance covered this season. Intensity still very much part of our indentity.
  11. What amused me was it succinctly demonstrated Agbonlahor doesn't pay attention and underpins the fact he's an absolutely shit pundit. The Birmingham fan clearly states he things the ref made an error buy that moron responds as if the bloke had said it wasn't a foul. Listen to what's being said, dickhead.
  12. I'm just away to clean the insides of my ears with wire brush and Dettol after listening to that exchinge of opinions and conversightion butwine thowse two.
  13. He's better than Truss and Johnson I'll give you that. It's not really enough though is it
  14. He's not worse than the Conservatives, but at the moment can you honestly say that he's any better What's his vision, what's the aim for the country, what does he stand for, how is he going to make the country better. The only thing I can see that Labour is for at the moment is to get elected again They're putting more kids into poverty They've got the same magical thinking about Brexit as the last mob They're completely ignoring their unique opportunity to tax wealth/profiteering corporation and instead are making the poorest bear the heaviest burden They have the majority to do what they want, again their Green industry plan was fantastic and could have revolutionised the countries future, completely forgotten Their whole shtick is about pandering to Farage voters Fuck Starmer
  15. Today
  16. I'm surprised you didn't follow up with dessert being pissing your pants worrying that the EPL were somehow going to award Villa 5th place.
  17. Well, this hiatus lasted a long time.
  18. Started the day off watching that Bruno documentary made by his family. Followed that up with the "fan" documentary about the cup final. Fucking destroyed once again.
  19. In all seriousness. What is it that Stramer has actually done that makes him worse to vote for than Reform and the Conservatives? I am still in the mindset that a vote for the Lib Dems and Green Party are a waste of a vote, or even more cynical if you want don't want a Labour government, vote Conservative or if you don't want a Conservative government, vote Labour. I know he lacks any clear identity but, to me, he appears far more competent than everyone in my recent memory.
