agreed but we’re not selling Isak unless he agitates for a move and in that eventuality we get £150m to rebuild this summer with the sort of free spending we haven’t seen since the early days of the takeover. I don’t want to lose Isak either and I expect us to get over the line for CL but either way, the future looks bright
-
we need six points, I think, to confirm CL with one of the wins coming against Chelsea
-
It would be good for the development of our younger players like Miley, Osula and that kid with the terrible haircut.
-
The issue we have is that ending up in the Europa League may result in losing key players. If by adventure you mean we stand a better chance of winning it, yep we do ... with the squad we currently have, but if dropping into that competition means Isak is on his way? No thanks...
-
Pessimists are rarely disappointed. As I said earlier though I would quite like a Europa league adventure so I’m satisfied with whatever happens from now on in.

It'll be my own 20th anniversary on here next year It was (at the time) AsprillasForeskin who introduced me to the place before he sadly went off the right wing deep end and I had to ban him.
-
i was too young to really remember that side but Terry Mac is al legend. I served him I was working at the Chinese restaurant in Darras hall in the mid 90s. He said he'd give me a good tip if I kept the beers flowing and he was true to his word. I must have served him 6-7 pints over the course of his dinner

Is Gemmill actually Paul??? 😱

You were a mere whipper-snapping 16yo when we brought this place together. Out of the 5 of us who had voodoo dolls made up by N-O, I'm the last remaining one to post with any regularity. And when it comes down to skeletons, I think we probably assume that some of the older members are sadly no longer with us, and I know of two regular members in and around our generation who have definitely passed away.

"I fancied nice cup of that famous, luvveleh carpaccio but when it came it wa just a thin strip of sorreh lewkin meat and it wa raw! Bloody Italian wops trying it on with honest folk visiting their country! You don't get this shit in Harrogate tea shops I tell thee! And don't me started on brass they wanted for their foreign muck!"

Terry Mac was some player - it's easy to overlook his influence to that team but was definitely part of the master plan. Seen that clip a few times and whilst it's fabulous to see, my skin crawls when our fans are singing YNWA.

You even got to take a holiday from being a Yorkshireman.
-
You know what, the prices to eat out were cheaper than over here so I was happy
-
As if the yorkshireman wasn't casting his eye at the prices.

Do YOU even understand what a PREDICTION is, PREDICKSPLASH?
-
When walking about Siena last week look at restaurants it quickly turned to me saying 'You look at the menu, I will always find something to eat'
-
Are YOU forgetting that YOUR predictions are ALWAYS wrong?

You have to bring Gemmill into the conversation? -
Are we all forgetting that Pickford completely loses his head at SJP? Didn't he get dropped for one of their visits in the last 5 years cos it all gets too much for him?
-
Good shout. Unfortunately, we’re now playing a game of narrowing down where she’d actually want to fucking go. The usual game of telling me where she doesn’t want to go, which seems to be 90% of the planet but being unable to give me any clues where she does want to go. At this rate, it’ll be a week in Blackpool

Couldn't agree more the 2 seasons with Keegan in the 2nd division were by far the most fun I ever had, I was living in London but managed 30 plus games both seasons. The London branch of the supporters club organised cheap train travel, for home games it was a tenner for an open return ticket 0900 from King's X, any train back. The 19:00 train back was the last sensible choice, I always ended up on the 1am rattler, pissed as a cunt, that went via Cambridge and Peterborough and got into King's X for 0830 Sunday morning, then straight over to Hackney Marshes to play Sunday League. Away matches were the bomb though, none of that ticket shite just turn up, and the more of you there were the more of the ground they would open up A particular favourite was early on in the frenzy when the bandwagon started to roll was Rotheram away. We'd just signed Terry Mac what a day
