Tbh we'd probably have been better off going out limply early on in this competition with a full reserve side and I can't believe I'm saying it, but these injuries and extra games are really not helping us at all if we want to progress, last night and now a two legged extra two games when we're probably going to play extra play off games in the CL as well as the two remaining fixtures with half the defence falling to bits isn't ideal.

Aye landed at 9:45. They must have really meant it.

This is true, but give it time, he's got all the attributes associated with becoming a favoured, and relentless, target for the miserable cunts: Broke into team young - check Local lad - double check Started well - check -

He was buzzing and really pleased the manager trusts him and just wants to keep playing and doing well. Btw I love his interviews. We'll look back fondly on these when he's a polished media performer in a few years time. -
have you had a fuck off email for psv then?

The physicality bit as well. He's still only 19. He's gonna get even stronger over the next few years. -
Two ballot failures, and a partridge in a pear tree.

i liked how he was notionally playing right back but was in his usual central midfield position whenever we had the ball. tino was doing the same from LB, to lesser effect. miley was a lot more cultured on the ball. other positives - i didn't think he was the quickest but he tracked his full back well yesterday and rarely got done for pace. he's also strong on for such a young lad and used his physicality well to bully some of their players off the ball. he looks good cover at right back. only negative on a superb performance was trying to overplay it from the back in a tight position on the odd occasion, which could have got us in trouble, where he might have been better off putting his laces through it. but that's stuff he'll learn with experience. -
He’s 100% a mackem
-
if he isn't a mackem he is a blatant wind up merchant who bumps loads of threads trolling about howe and other players right after a poor result
-
I don't think he's a mackem, he's been a member for years.
-
He types really quickly because of his 6 fingers.
-
honestly man.... why's it been decided that beatty's a mackem?

According to Waugh, they had to hold a special training session yesterday morning to take Miley through all the tactical stuff and patterns for playing RB. He's clearly not daft. -
Not only can Tino's injury be traced back to the decisions of Bunce who has given him too many minutes, it can be tracked back to Bunce's eighteenth century ancestor who was interrupted right on the cusp of copulation by Bunce's great-great-great-great-grandmother asking if said ancestor had forgotten to wind the clock. This confusing incident involving time experienced in the passionate throes of Bunce's great-great-great-grandfather being conceived has caused untold misery down the years. Tino is merely the most recent victim. But at least we've now all learned that everything is connected in a long long sequence of events that can be reconstructed by pure logic. For instance, we also know that Beatty's problems can be traced back to centuries of rampant inbreeding.

One thing too last night. We made 6 changes including a make shift RB and tbh I didn't feel once we were under the cosh like we have been at times in some games. I think that shows Eddie has read the riot act and it shows the lads coming in want to stay in. Yeh we weren't magnificent or dominated, but we were a lot better.

You're suggesting gross incompetence by the way, which is a long way from not being infallible.
-
It's the human body that's not infallible. Not everything needs that goes wrong needs someone to blame.
-
They clearly aren't infallible.
-
There's no way the medical staff or the coaches sent him out to play with a knee that was about to go pop.
-
I used to love watching that show. In retrospect it’s funny how it was meant to be hundreds of years in the future. It couldn’t have looked more 70s if it tried

He doesn't seem to be making the runs like he did at Forest, so that has to be by design. Eddie wants him to play a certain way and so far that's not working with our system.
