  1. Past hour
  2. It's why IMO the PL in its current format is finished. Bruno should not have to be sold to comply with artificial rules that do not account for owner's wealth. It's the Saudi sovereign wealth fund - the richest on the planet - not some dodgy millionaire. Simon Jordan's suggestion about rewriting the rules and bringing levels of taxation into play is a good idea, but six clubs effectively rule the roost.
  3. Mother nature waits for no man, Alex! Do what you have to do!
  4. If he goes and stays in the Prem I will be gutted.
  5. That said, I need a shite.
  6. Purely on gut feeling, I think he’ll stay another year. But I also think we’ll spend in excess of £200m on squad improvements this summer (and also have Tonali back) if he does go. PSG would be much better than seeing him line up against us in the league as well
  7. So Howe has now confirmed the clause is there and must be triggered before the end of June. Clearest "come and get him!" there could be. It was nice whilst it lasted.
  8. Today
  9. Look up posts by an old member called Wolfy- it’s a wild ride
  10. the laughs from the audience
  11. Disneyland ✅ I don't know if the context is right, I just wanted to feel involved.
  12. I wonder if he's after a lifetime pass to Disneyland. Fucker is always there
  13. According to Talksport his agent has been speaking to PSG.
  14. Bruno just bought a house, hes going nowhere. We'll be seeing bruno jr coming off the bench in 17 years for his first team debut after coming through the academy.
  15. He can finally drive around his living room in this:
  16. A plot round the back for their ashes to be scattered would be better tbh.
  17. tbh, the last game i went to at home (1-1 v everton) was a bit of a throwback. flat as fuck. it was one of those where the crowd turned up expecting to win. i had a great seat in the milburn paddock in terms of view - just above the dugout - but atmosphere? not so much. i was surrounded by old blokes in their 50s and 60s who didn't try to join in with any signing - even after we scored. the only time they made any noise was to complain. time for some of these old timers to give up their season tickets for the next generation. a lot of them don't seem like they're getting any joy out of it, so why bother? the corner did its best to get things going but the rest of the crowd couldn't be arsed - you could hear a pin drop at times. if we do build a new ground there should be a designated section for boring old bastards ticked high in the gods somewhere, as well as designated singing sections behind the goals.
  18. It's all just a question of scale, he probably needed that licence to be able to legally drive a mini.
  19. Judging from my armchair, I would say the PSG game (and probably all the CL games tbf) had the better atmosphere because of the nature and level of importance, but it's been a while since the atmosphere was completely flat and shit (probably pre takeover)
  20. I distinctly remember the commentators/pundits wanking themselves daft over Brighton, and we were coming off a bunch of shitty results, including getting shagged by Villa so they were all praying we'd collapse again only for Brighton to completely shit the bed. It was glorious
  21. what a fucking electric night in SJP that was - absolutely magic and along with the Arsenal game the previous season, the best I've seen it since the Keegan days. I didn't mange to get tickets for PSG at home but I gather that was arguably just as good or even better.
  22. It's fine online for me, but mobile its pooop
  23. Aye, they were an absolute gift that night.
  24. They did the same at SJP last season when Miggy destroyed them by constantly putting their keeper under pressure. Despite shipping goals for fun they still tried to play out from the back because it's the only tactic he has. When it works well it's great for them, but when it doesn't they tend to get beat, heavily.
