I’m just flabbergasted that you spent all yesterday suggesting we don’t sell our 5th (of about 7) choice CB because we might be short then sell 1 of our 2 RWs. 😁 You’re then trying to back up the argument by saying he hasn’t played well recently (which is true) but this again could be used to beat Kelly with. I guess we just see what Big Mitch does.

This is astonishing. I mean, we can play Joelinton CB if we need to. He might not be very good but that doesn’t matter. I understand your hatred for his right foot and we all want to see him moved on but the squad will be weaker without him.
-
I thought your argument was all about cover and not leaving us short?
-
Im sure we can just play a random player out of position there and everything will be absolutely fine...

A single bang average RW who is currently in a purple patch.
-
😀 Of course he offers something. He is very rusty at the moment but is good in the press and his build up play is fine. He is just a bad finisher. Livramento as RW won't work.

Eddie just needs to tell them we are playing at top 6 side and we’ll be fine.

They are having a right go at their attack whilst ignoring they’ve let 3 goals in the each past 2 games. -
Good call on Dibling. Although I really like him I’m not sure Mbeumo has the intensity to play for Howe.

We could be lining up a 7th CB just incase, you know, all 6 CBs get injured.
-
Surely we can’t sell Miggy without a replacement lined up? (Being serious here)

I think he’ll get the benefit of the doubt until his CBs are back. -

Interesting tactics from Wolves. Massively high press. It caught us out a lot but ultimately it was suicide football with defending like that. -

We’ve been very shoddy playing out from the back tonight. Very sloppy. Could have been a different game if Wolves had taken their chances -

Team as expected. Cunha on the bench for them. -
He was fine the season before. The reason the defence struggled last year was because the midfield didn’t have the energy for the press. If you play a high line and fail to press the ball correctly, you’re fucked. We are debating something we have no idea about anyway. IF we could re-invest the money into a CF or RW this window then I’d prefer we did that. If not then just hold onto him. It’s upto Big Mitch. That’s why we pay him the big bucks. Not just to keep him in jeans with a suit top.

Targett would prob get the nod at LB. And you’re picking out a performance when Burn had just returned from a lengthy lay off. Kelly is basically just an expensive Paul Dummett at the moment. For ref; I think he is better player than he is showing for us but he is behind Botman and Burn for LCB.
-
Didn’t we manage with the same amount of CBs last year without Kelly? That included European competition as well.

I can confirm American Primeval is superb, if you're into Westerns. Gruesome.

I hope we are not bluffing. Take the money and run Paul !

Aerobics Oz Style finished years ago so he has had to resort to knocking one out over the SSN presenters. -

Colback was worse than Hayden. I forgot about Alan Smith? Awful CM.

Tonali couldn't get a game ahead of Longstaff 9-10 games ago. He'll still be off Italy. Im just pushing it back a year now. Summer of 2026 now. 😄
