  1. If they went up I'm sure they'd do excellently as their players and fans would surely treat each game as a cup final which would be a twat for the big clubs they play.
  2. Bollocks, I could do with some petrol as well! Usually when shite like this happens I've usually got enough in till the panickers have filled up and then I fill up as normal.
  3. We need to add 'Mackem on holiday' to the 'Mag at work', legend, like. 'Mackem on holiday reckons Penelope Cruz blew his pipe and said it was much better and bigger than the Mag's pipe. Said theirs tasted of gravy but ours tasted like champagne truffles. Gerrin!!! FTM'
  4. Talking to Liverpool and Manchester City fans and only because he's a Sunderland fan did they bring the subject of Newcastle up? Fucking whey aye!!
  5. Very surreal this game, a few of us went round to a mate's house as he lived with his mam who died that morning, he kept her illness to himself, we only found out right near the end. We're sitting in his having a few cans trying to console him, the match gets put on and by the time we come back from 1-3 down and Shearer gets the winner everyone, very much including our bereaved mate was diving all over his living room going mental. Grief is a strange thing.
  6. We haven't been tainted with them for over sixty years in my constituency.
  7. They maybe should've thought twice before investing in this at the airport but y'knaa, they had to show their PL trophy off the year we were in (and won), the championship.....
  8. I know a few who worked in the shipyards and they fucking loathed them more than just football fans.
  9. I think it'll be when CT's branch of SCS sponsored the man of the match award and he handed over a bottle of champagne and a £100 off voucher for any SCS settee to Andy Hunt.
  10. I thought they revelled in being the only club* to get decent support in the lower divisions? *In their heads
  11. "Get hold of Oliver. Tell him it's time to start paying back his membership of the MCTB club. Get him to ref the Norwich against Burnley match and make sure Norwich win thus helping make Newcastle stay safe and demoralising our sworn enemies on Wearside therefore further contributing to our mission to keep them beaten down. If he's reticent then threaten to release an embarrassing story in the Ronny Gill about him. Also, get onto our man at nexus, it's a nice day, it would be a real shame if the metro line from Sunderland were to go down. Haha, Hahaha, Hahahahahaha!" "Sure thing. About that Dawn Thewlis thing you mentioned last week..... she's more than happy to talk about Newcastle United first on the five minute sports bit on Look North, said it would be a pleasure and she might even mention Gateshead before Sunderland!"
  12. If he doesn't, he should.
  13. No, Robson was manager I'm sure. I seem to recall Bellamy not being too happy in an interview after the game about it and Robson being hard to read, whether he knew it was bollocks or genuinely thought we might get him?
  14. Definitely. Bergkamp was an absolute cunt and sly with it. Vieira in games against us had the old five foul rule before being in danger of a booking whereas most of ours had a zero tolerance yellow from the off.
  15. But Dixon, aye still get mad now every time I see his fucking moonface on TV, the fucking cunt, at least you don't see or hear thunderbird's Parker, (Winterburn) talking much these days.
  16. I was there on the touchline, they went through him a few times and he did get booked for diving when today it would've been a red studs down his leg. Fucking disgraceful ref and you had to laugh when the Arsenal fans of Wenger's era used to cry about protection for their players against Stoke etc. I'm guessing some of them weren't around a few years earlier?
  17. What a little cunt. What's the phrase, 'read the room'? So you can add the word 'thick' to 'cunt'.
