dismissing something as misery music, even if it Coldplay, is extremely naïve I find their musical slant to be exceptionally melancholy. I find the singer's voice to be depressing. For £3.5m I wouldn't be shoving him out the door, 31 is hardly old for a goalkeeper. Based on what I saw last season I'd say Harper was the better of the two and deserves to be the in team ahead of Shay despite what his one man fan club above might say.

It would seem foolish to give Shearer the job when there are other candidates out there with decent track records. Blackburn have a few decent players who I'm sure would balk at Allardyce's tactics even though Hughes hardly developed beautiful football at Ewood Park. Personally I'd give the likes of Ince a chance, he has done good work at the clubs he has been at so far, the only problem for me would be whether his ego has decreased any since he was a footballer.
