  1. If they’re out on licence I have no problem with their movement being controlled. Whatever the restrictions it’s still better than being locked in a cell.

    Eddie Howe

And we go live now to the Gemmill v Toonpack predictor head to head.
  3. Positive discrimination certainly gave her the opportunity as she was one of the first female pundits on TV but it couldn't keep her there once people realised there were other women out there who actually know something about how to analyse a game of football.
  4. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cgkg8kjlp80o Has Joey Barton damaged her career? Or is she just a bad pundit? I guess the latter never entered her head. To have a go at Ian Wright so being a pundit on women’s football says it all. She’s more concerned with him eating into her airtime than looking at what having a prominent pundit such as Wright does to boost the women’s game.
  5. I fucking wish. Anyways, I thought you had a 32 inch waist? I guess we've both been let down.
  6. Aye, I disagree with your position but I understand how you've come to a different view to me.
  7. Their DoF of football is a Newcastle lad. If Big Mitch summer turns into a damp flop then Giles would be the next man I'd be getting in.
  8. Well... yes. It has been going on in other countries without happening so it's entirely irrational to think that the UK would be any different.
  9. Agreed but the status and money of being involved in the CL outweighs the improved chance of winning the thing unfortunately.
  10. I'm sorry but there's only room for one Irish Newcastle supporting printer on this board. So I guess this is goodbye from me.
  11. It's done by comparing areas where trans-women are allowed in the likes of public bathrooms and those where they aren't. There aren't figures released reporting assaults by trans-gender status AFAIA. https://escholarship.org/content/qt4rs4n6h0/qt4rs4n6h0.pdf But surely the onus to provide evidence has to be by those claiming there's a risk? I hope you aren't referring to me because if you are then you'll be hearing from my lawyer very shortly with a cease and desist notice.
  12. What are the 'genuine' safety concerns? I've looked it up and the data shows absolutely zero evidence of an increased likelihood of a cis woman being assaulted by a trans-woman in a shared setting.
  13. The bit where they have to put down the fallers should make for interesting viewing.
  14. Now sure seems like a good time to publish a league table of which nationality is doing the most raping.
  15. When you've made nearly £200m in profit over the last three seasons then it seems a bit stupid to pick a fight with the ordinary fan, particularly when you're having a poor season by your own high standards.
  16. Rashford looks decent going forward but still offers very little when he doesn't have the ball. He has his sights on a bigger club than Villa but I don't see which of them would want him. The big stumbling block is his wages. Maybe he is a good lad and will be happy to take a pay cut to progress his career but I doubt it and Man U will be loathe to subsidise his wages in order to get him shifted on a permanent transfer so there's nothing straightforward here.
  17. I’ve got no statistics but put yourself in the shoes of a trans woman going to the gym and having to use the male showers.
  18. 20% of the country today feel very uncomfortable seeing two men kissing yet we legalised it nearly 60 years ago. What you call feelings I call prejudices. Personally I think most of the country wouldn’t be arsed about it. Referendum anyone?
  19. I don’t see the decision itself as divisive. This isn’t America where the judiciary is politicised, the Supreme Court has in no way declared that they agreed with the law, they just clarified how the current law should be interpreted. If Starmer disagrees with the current law then he could change it in the morning. But he won’t because he has no convictions and balls the size of peanuts. If he had this view for years then I’d disagree with him but at least he’d have a strongly held view. Turns out he’s as much of a wet blanket as he initially appeared.
  20. To all of you moaning that the membership is a waste of money, I’ve just been given exclusive pre-sale access to our preseason match against Arsenal… in Singapore.
  21. Who knew he was capable of such statesmanship and solemnity? While stood beside a seven foot rabbit. https://x.com/catholicsat/status/1914347487600521585?s=46
  22. Fox News: Genocide? No problem. Irish band calling out the genocide? Absolute outrage. https://x.com/kneecapceol/status/1914452410942283812?s=46
