  1. Was just about to post the same thing! Imagine if he'd been around when The Italian Job had come out and had spoilt the end of that? He would have been lynched. KD, less it, kidda, please.

    Catmag!

    HBTY, HBTY, HBDC.........HBTY 21 AGAIN?!
  3. If possible, I try to get a seat right at the back of 'the corner' for two reasons. First reason is so I can stand throughout the game, and second reason is so I can surreptitiously scan the blit around my 'district' if the football becomes tedious.
  4. I see Gibson has his face on the front of that. It speaks volumes that the only positive thing about that shitty club is it's chairman, and he has to have his cupon on the banner at the top of the page as a promotion of the club. Then you consider our 'great' club. What positives do we posess?
  5. Another bribe / con job then. If someone truly believes something, then surely that belief is unconditional? Quote: "At a time when money is tight for supporters, football clubs have to recognise the sacrifices people make to continue following their team and offer any assistance they can in making games affordable to watch." If they truly believed that statement, and truly cared for the finances of the supporters, there would never be any time constraint. Another one for the lies thread.
  6. Collared!! Bastid. Thought I would check into TT just before bed (it's 23:25 here) only to find this outrageous slur on my character. Night all, as Dixon of Dock Green would have said.
  7. After the way MOTD wanked over Jo the other week - when he scored two (one of which was a pen), I expect him to be crap against us. They are missing a few players. All adds up to a victory for Everton.
  8. First time I've seen that. Quite moving tbh. I remember I was away at the time and listening to the events on the radio. Sad, sad stuff.
  9. The saddest thing is that she has this illness and she is going to die. Next to that, the saddest thing is the fact there is money to be made because folk will want to a) watch her get married and b, watch her die. Both being yet more indicators of the mong society we live in.
  10. Wonder how long it is until we get to: Ashley, Llambias and Wise exit stage left.
  11. I recall being in Copenhagen many moons ago, very drunk (well, steaming actually) and getting a taxi. When I arrived at my destination I thrust a wad of notes into the taxi driver's hand. Woke up the next morning and realised I must have given the chap a bloody fortune! Ah, the delights of being 'tipsy'
  12. Ashley. Shepherd is history now so he should remain as such. We are stuck with Lardash until he gets his £100m back so the club can be sold again. Let's just hope that is sooner, rather than later.
  13. Gia.(again) A dirge of a movie that the ff button was invented for. Except, of course, when A. Jolie gets her magnificent breasts out on show I'm not sure how old she was when she made the film (20-ish?), but she did have the most remarkable, impressive, fantastic, booblicious tits. Did I mention her breasts were good? EDIT: let's be in no doubt about the quality of her tits:
  14. I used to like it in the good ol' days when a pub would have cheese cubes, cold blackpud cubes and occasionally cold chopped up roast pots on the bar - free of charge. Yum yum. iirc this was more likely to happen on a Sunday lunchtime session.
  15. I haven't read what you're all referring to, but isn't it FACT! that this sort of thing has happened many, many times before?Especially during the CW.
  16. I'm tea-total for the forseeable future, but I think I will break out a bottle of dog in celebration when that abortion of an advert is removed from the Gallowgate roof.
  17. Post of the Week! The likelihood of Leazes buying anything from there.... And, no, is the answer to the question.
  18. No Butts, it's gotta be Beye . I'm fuckin' wasted here.
  19. Unless I'm very much mistaken, a player signing on a 'free' (and also players renewing their contracts) get a sign-on payment as well. If I'm right, Viduka will have pocketed around £1m-ish for agreeing to come here, which adds to the overall total cost. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong - though I divvent think I am. Shit! half me bourbon biscuit has snapped off into me coffee when I was dunking it just then. See what he's made me do Get rid!!
  20. He's no need to worry. If N-O is anything to go by, the vast majority are happy with the situation at the club and Ashley's plans/dealings. I really don't know what Ash can now do to stop the ill feelings of the fans. Maybe if he were to speak to some guy (I believe there's a lawyer?) from NUSC to attempt to put his side of the story to us fans? I say NUSC, because I just don't see anyone else reporting back from an interview with the man who the rest of us would believe, I honestly don't. If nothing changes, I dread to think how many will chuck their season tickets. And a fare few that do get rid of their ST wont bother going on a match-to-match basis either.
  21. Cheers I actually thought you had one in Allardyce, seems Ashley didn't agree... And as for Kinnear, he'll do enough to keep you in the premiership but that's not what you should be aiming for, you do have a good enough team though. Barton( not a bad player, despite being a twat), Nolan, Duff, Martins, Owen, need a few quality defenders though IMO. @Stevie: Haha, well it isn't a fantastic chant, but it's ours and I wouldn't change anything for it. I was wondering. Do you know how much debt Villa had when Lerner took over? Had 'Deadly Doug' kept a tight ship, in that regard? (don't know why I was typing that with a meedlunds accent, but I couldn't help it!!) Also, in respect of defenders, I expect O'Neil and other top managers to come with their bags of gold for Bassong in the summer.
  22. Before I went on the waggon, real ale was my favourite drink in a pub. Walking into a pub to find a selection of 'guest' real ales on the tap was much to my liking Too many of these insipid, like-for-like largers on the market for my liking.
  23. I was going to say the Duomo in Florence but I decided not to as I thought it's decoration was more impressive than it's actual construction; as well as St Marks basilica in Venice. Both truly amazing in decoration yet not as impressive when considering the construction. Maybe I'm just splitting hairs? I find the bare stonework in the British cathedral somehow more, I don't know, more impressive/inspiring. I'm a bit of a construction sap tbh (without knowing too much about it) - looking at buildings turns me on
