It's worse than grim, Gemmill. For this sort of thing to happen to anyone is bad enough but for it to happen in a restaurant, to a man of that age, is just mind-boggling. Wonder if Murray was at Stadium of Plight on saturday? This would give an indication of how seriously injured he was; hopefully his injuries are as minor as possible. Not sure if he attends S of P anymore though

Its David Essex Rock On!!! Fuck I'm an anorak!! an old anorak!!! 61804 Well done BigAl. Maybe the guy that owes me the lollie will contact you, but I wouldn't hold my breath! With your, obvious, vast knowledge of all things important in life, me thinks you should post a bit more (apparently we are in need of more posters before we expire ). Where you from and why you no post a bit more??

Now that you mention it you are correct, but it aint the song I was thinking of. It's a 70's song I'm remembering. Anyway, 'Is it down to the lake I fear?'. Preferably with Souness in a sack with numerous rocks for company.

I'm on the case, I've sent off the following questions to two Deportivo fans as part of our "Insiders View: Albert Luque" feature. Q: Can Luque really play as a defensive midfielder? Q: Why does he wear the No.99 shirt? Q: Is he a striker or a winger? Q: Did he really support Newcastle as a boy? Q: How many Champions League medals does he own? Q: Did he get chinned off "El Rifle"? Q: Can Newcastle win a trophy at last? Q: What happened to Souness' tache? Q: Faye, good squad player or a waste of space? Q: Bramble, a liability or full of potential? Q: Is Toontastic plastic in your opinion? Q: Is N.O shite in your opinion? Q: Boumsong, a waste of money or worth it? Q: Bellamy, does he score enough goals? Q: Kluivert, mercenary or superstar? Q: Did Hitzfeld get on that plane? Q: Taylor, next Jon Terry? Q: Babayaro, is he really that lass off Big Brother? Q: "tbh", inane or funny? Q: Is your chairman a wanker or wot? I expect the results in a few days. Should be interesting. 61088 Anyway, to settle an argument, I can answer the question as to whether or not Luque is a left winger. I have it on good authority that he is not; he votes Liberal Democrat.

Is it Love Plus One by Haircut 100? 61645 I don't know who deserves the bigger slap. Souness or you, for that attempt!
-
No need to panic. Things will get better when Souness has 'his team' out. Exactly. That was 'his team'. As the words to the song go, 'And where do we go from here? Which is the way that's clear?'. (and if anyone can tell me which song that comes from they are an old fart -like me- and I will give them the lollie that I'm still owed).
-
Will somebody please take that bloody spoon off Gemmill? You're a bad, bad man.
-
If you think that would have been embarrassing for you, consider your poor wife who was nearly caught being sexed by you! 61464 My dear Gemmill, she was positively advertising the conquest of having me 'bone' her, the lucky girl!
-
As the words of the song go, 'Did I ever tell you you're my heeeeeeeeeeeero?'. I'll pm you.

Torkish players = proper players?
-
Aye, probably about pizzas and the sluts who deliver them. (not all pizza delivery people are sluts, of course).

Clever title, Rob, clever.

It opens up a whole massive debate though doesn't it. Does Shearer weild too much power at SJP and, if so, is it to the detriment of NUFC? We are supposed to love Shearer but if it is to the detriment of the club then we should, surely, be slagging him for harming the club? I wonder that once he actually does retire, whether the sniping will start as I suspect that most of us think Shearer does have too much say in what goes on.

Giving my then g/f (now mrs hips) a knee trembler up against the sea wall at Whitley Bay when a bloke walking his dog went past about two feet away. Just climbing off then g/f (now mrs hips) on the ferry from Norway when a steward opened the door to check the cabin. Crikey, there must be more but I can't recall right now.

*yawn* Maybe a more apt title of the thread would have been 'Kluivert savages a Gregg's pasty - or three' ??

Robbie Keane- the sun doesn't shine out his arse

Ooooooooo, hark at Olga Korbut!!!! -
Sunlun fan/Newcastle fan, who knows. What we do know, though, is that the person is a fuckin' moron of the highest order.

Aye. If I get the basic package it'll cost me £50 for Sky+ anyway. 61306 Even with Sky Sports and using that special offer thing? 61307 That's part of the offer cos it would normally be £90 for installation then £10 per month for the Sky+. If I get Sky Sports it would be £32 a month after the offer ends and no subscription for Sky+. Just weighing up my finances at the moment. 61309 just get it cheapskate! when you do can I come round and watch it cos Im not forking out for Sky. 61311 If he comes, you must surely have room for another??

No-one expects the Spanish Inquesition! You should be very careful when putting names on a board. You never know who is reading it. Someone named Connor, for example btw, 'miserable'??
-
I realised as the thread went on .... however if it were true .... Am just going out now. Gemmills way with figures and words never cease to amaze me however... certainly don't want any of what he has ! 61364 Have a good one. Don't get hung up too much with people mate, life's too short.

Talksport are reporting that Murray was glassed in the face in Newcastle last night when eating in a restaurant with Mick McCarthy. This is not a wind up.
-
He'll play. I agree that he seems to make sure he's fit for any England game but with him being an Everton supporter as a kid and having played for Liverpool, he's bound to be relishing the chance of playing there.
-
Could be anyone that, tbh. 54212 Buster Bloodvessel tbh. 54242 Have you seen Buster recently?? Fuckin hell - a shadow of his former self!

Just got home yesterday and missed the Sunlun game. Is there a kind soul who would lend me a copy of the game so I could see it?? I could meet them any time next week - preferably in or around Newcastle - and I would even buy them a drink for their trouble and kindness (maybe even two as I would be really really grateful). I would return the tape/disc without delay and promise to take the greatest care of it. PM me if you're a good-hearted soul who could do this favour for me.

L/M, have another drink man.
