  1. Oh aye, just seen your thread, nightmare!
  2. Tell us how that Glasvegas gig goes, they didn't go down well in Sunderland. Does anyone on here use http://www.bandsintown.com/ ? Only just found it today and looks alright for suggesting local gigs.
  3. If you want to download them just google the album name and put .rar mediafire rapidshare on the end of it. I buy 90% of my music like, I like having a physical copy of albums, canny sad but I prefer it.
  4. How come, Kev? And no one can play at the minute, PSN is still down.
  5. When u think of the amount they've spent since they first got in to the prem its shocking that they've essentially been involved in or close to a relegation battle every season. Sad that we havent come close to spending what they have though as who knows where we'd be. I am certain we'll kick on next year, just can't wait for this one to just end, its has been a nightmare. Being honest I'm not arsed if we finish above you, I just want to finish as high up as possible. Top 8 is still on, we played better yesterday without a striker on the pitch, weird.
  6. We weren't prolific with him tbf, he was strolling round the pitch like he couldn't give a toss this season. And our injuries have been canny bad: Turner - most of season Bramble - 1/3 season Richardson - month or so Gordon - missed a lot, has rarely played Onouha - few weeks Cattermole - months Welbeck - month or so Mensah - injured every other week, and that's no lie! Campbell - full season There's probably a few more as well. Not an excuse for the dip in form, but definitely a contributing factor.
  7. There has never been total support for SB at any time whilst he's been here, a lot of people can't see past his "Geordie roots" and that is sad. Those people are out in force now calling him a mag bastard etc. but were no where to be seen at the start of the season. Embarrassingly fickle. The problem Bruce has is that he struggles (badly) when plan A doesn't work - there is no plan B. Once we get beat a few times off the trot, like we have now, he seems clueless as to how to turn it around, we seem to panic and stop playing our usual game, hit the self destruct button I guess. The inexperience of the team is probably partly to blame, there's no-one to step up and help the younger lads out, we don't have a proper captain/leader like you have in Barton/Nolan. Injuries really haven't helped us out, but you can't use that as an excuse. Everton have had endless injuries this season, but they have a top manager who can adapt to that and change their game - we don't. Bruce does seem to be hiding behind this though and using it as an excuse which is wrong. It must be frustrating for him though, it really has been a one in and one out situation with injuries, key players too - but that's no excuse for being tactically hopeless at times. And I'll just point out now that we haven't missed Bent, and we were correct to sell him, what we did wrong was fail to replace him with anyone, it has left us completely toothless up front, even more so with the absence of Welbeck. Leaving a PL team with 1 fit striker is suicide. It looks like another massive expensive reshuffle in the summer, this season has been a step backward. I still think Bruce is the man for the job for now, we just need to add a lot more experience to our young squad and build (again) from there.
  8. He's actually a good goalkeeper with a seriously bad injury record, he's constantly injured.
  9. Feel sorry for FC, that's probably his top flight career gone, massive blow for him.
  10. Played our game tonight. 1-1. Was probably a fair result, I got a bit lucky at the end when he crashed a FK off the post! Thought it was in.
  11. Nortoon, I'm away until Wednesday night, so I'll play you after that, on most nights like, just give me a message when you see me online.
  12. Jesus. Glad you're alright, I would have shat myself if I'd been rushed to hospital with that!
  13. She's great. Can't stand U2 and Coldplay though, just not my thing. Boring as can be.
  14. http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/ Glasto announced. Morrissey playing the Pyramid stage.
  15. Sounds like our awful Asics number from years ago. Lonsdale... who is it who owns that brand again?
  16. And yes our Lonsdale kit really was awful, proper shiny material as well that looked like them cheap knock off kits from abroad.
  17. Looks like one of them Tyneside kits on Pro Evo.
  18. The Wombats are playing Newcastle again in Oct. Happy about that as I missed them last time, we were at Arsenal that day & I couldn't get back in time. Think I'll go to that Intro Fest in Boro too, just to see Jon Fratelli, Miles Kane, Young Rebel Set and The Chapman Family, worth it for £10/£15.
  19. I love Park Ji Sung, he's hugely underrated.
  20. Happens quite a lot where the game stops you doing things, for my O.G I couldn't control the defender and then goalkeeper dived into him, pisses me off.
  21. Aye, wouldn't want you going and doing something crazy would we?!
