Colo, Enrique, and Jonas for the most part have taken 3 seasons to adjust and start playing well. Barton has had his first good season for us ever. Nolan has had his first good season for us in the PL. (All of them may be sold depending on what you choose to believe. Personally I think the whole squad is for sale if bids come in.) Yet for some reason you seem to think losing all those players and bringing in unproven replacements who have never played PL football let alone had a chance to develop an understanding with their teammates, adjust to the style of football, or adjust to the culture of the UK, is a good thing. You're a fucking idiot. WUM or not. Personally I think not since this sort of shitty brainless banter is pretty much in line with everything else you contribute to this forum. Is N'Zogbia still playing left back for us next season you fucking retard?

Scared me for a minute. Could only have been worse if someone said we weren't resigning Barton. Wait.

Do you normally write in crayon?

Finally some good news.

60 Minutes Interview As a cycling fan I have thought Armstrong was a doper for around 10 years. No real revelations in anything that Hamilton says, but it just adds to the pile of former teammates, friends, pundits who think he was doped to the gills for all those years. Obviously everyone is going to say, "They all doped so who cares", but LA earnt millions of dollars because of it and if he is found guilty he could go to jail. Thoughts?

Well that was a microcosm of everything NUFC.

Bye bye top half finish. Bye bye finishing above the mackems. Bye bye £3 million. FFS!

Wolves safe, Birmingham down now on goals scored.
-
Someone tell our defence this game is worth around £4 million. That's like 4 signings for the fat cunt.

Charles N'zogbia keen on a move back to NUFC

I don't think he ever said Wigan were a bigger club. From memory he was saying big clubs were interested in him, Arsenal being the main one. He's obviously not the smartest and he is a bit of a cunt, but he has improved and could be a good signing. -

Very promising news... about Cole. -
It'd be nice if they came to Australia. Fuck the US. None of them will have any money to do anything soon.
-
Samba is the pick of the bunch. But he would be pricey. Also looking forward to N'Zogbia's 'stepping stone' and 'Aresanl are interested' announcements. Although credit where its due, he has improved in the last few years. Especially playing centrally.

Who would have thought the concept of 'net spend' was so difficult to grasp? Voted £10-15 mill. Personally I think around the £10m mark will be accurate since a few players will leave. Although it should be the whole £35m of the Carroll transfer + any other transfer income from summer sales + £5-10m of Ashley's money. But it won't be. Obviously if we sell Enrique or Tiote or both then it'll probably be closer to zero. Remaining positive that that won't happen.
-
I think everyone is hoping that. But its the typical scenario. Relegated team, played under Pardew before. What's Cole's missus look like? That could be the deciding factor for Pards. Sears look decent to me, nothing more (eg. I won't be starting a 'Your time has come Sears' thread), but he could be useful. Similar sort of player to Routledge. So he's not going to be great, but he won't cost much and his wage demands will be small.
-
That seems pretty accurate. Spurs should be our main rivals for signing the sort of players we should be after. The likes of Bolton, Stoke, Sunderland, probably won't be in the market for an expensive striker. Will be interesting to see what Blackburn do with their crazy Tikka Masala owners? So surely we should have first right of refusal on some decent talent from the French and/or Dutch leagues.
-
Fuck, me too!
-
Good player. Could very well be the first player sold. Anyone think a bid for Sears would be worthwhile?
-
Duff got sold. If we got offers for that bag of crap then we certainly got offers for the others. Probably just not at the asking price that was set for them.
-
You're right. Players in Ligue 1 are on lower wages, the transfer fees are not going to be rediculous, and the style of football is similar if at a much lower level. I think France is the best place to look first. Definitely a better option than Italy and Spain for value. The Dutch league would be another good option.

I completely agree that the Carroll sale was good business. I think the vast majority of people do. Did anyone see him miss the open header against Spurs at the weekend? A 35 million pound striker doesn't miss opportunities like that. Plus he looks to be a bit injury prone. The crux of it is that we don't have a chairman we can trust to reinvest the funds. If we had a chairman that wasn't a cunt everyone would be excited by the prospect of an off season with £35 million plus to spend in the transfer market.
-
That's him. I think he would be good value at that price. On Shola I don't think we should be thinking of getting rid of him. He's part of the furniture at the club. He'll never be a world beater but he is solid as a squad player.
-
I think the FC Lorient striker would be a decent signing. Can't remember his name Kevin something-io. He has scored a few this year in a rather poor side.
