Classico tonight. I get the sense most people on here would support Barca over Real. Wrong? It's definitely the case for me. It's not the Ronaldo is a cock factor, I don't mind him that much these days, but just generally I enjoy watching Barca play more than Real. The Messi v Ronaldo topic has come up again as it always does. Messi is a better player in my opinion but I think he relys on his teammates more than Ronaldo has to or is able to. Not that is a redeeming quality for Ronaldo, it can be at times but it can also be, and often is, detrimental to his sides.

I think perhaps you look more foolish, for starting this thread, than you were hoping LM would look for making a comment a year and half ago comparing two developing players. Sometimes I wonder if I would realise people like you are fuckwits more quickly in person than over the internet. I imagine you look like a fuckwit so it would be a close run thing I'm betting.

I think we have a right to be hopeful, regarding the signing of Gervinho. Anymore than that is delusional. As for our relegation chances. One more win in the next few games and we can probably relax knowing we will pick up enough additional points along the way to secure safety. The relationship between tackling success rate and overall good defending is questionable. He was out of position for the first goal. And opposition players ran straight by him a few times far too easily. In saying that, you have a point in that he does look promising, at least going forward. Not having Tiote is going to be a huge problem. We have been terrible without him and there is no clear replacement for him within the squad.
