To me it was sheer luck that we got Ben Arfa and Tiote. We were lucky that Ben Arfa for some reason or another actually forced through the move to us and wanted to come here. We were lucky that somehow we picked up Tiote for £3.5 million and he turned out IMO the signing of the Premiership, just look at how many clubs sign players for less than four million and they turn out to be shit and just plain average, Tiote is one of a many few to become a quality Premiership player who was signed for less that 4 million You get like 1 in every 15 players who turn out class signed for that amount of money

IMO Arsenal are in danger of getting overtook by Tottenham IF they keep going the way spurs are going and thats spending money and improving their team. It's amazing that Wenger can't see what everyone else can see and makes changes, He needs a keeper, he needs a CB and a Dominating CM so why doesnt he do it ? He being too smart for his own good and it's impacting the team. He even said that coming 2nd isnt a failure and that he's happy with it. I'll be amazed to see what'll happen to them when Fabregas goes

I think what some people are forgetting aswell is our first team is not going to be fit for 38+ games of next season and we NEED players who are able to go straight into the first team, when players arent fit, suspended or out of form, we don't need back-up players who can plug in gaps we need players to challenge the first team, and quality ones at that

Aye, I can see Man City, Chelsea and Man Utd all finishing above them next season, because Arsenal have players who have never won anything in their careers and it hink that's what sets them apart from those other 3 teams, they all have players who have been there before and know how to go about winning things and having a bit of discipline when going about their jobs. Also Wenger also let's his players get away with murder aswell, its never their fault and always someone elses

They could have walked this league this year if Wenger wasnt so arrogant and addressed the problems they have

There's a difference between saying where you think the squad needs work and where you think actual work will be done We already have the poorest set of strikers in the premiership, and if Tiotte and Barton go we will have the poorest midfield too. Not good. Barton has already said he's staying regardless. I think you are confusing leaving with letting his contract run down. If Ashley even has an inkling that Barton just wants to run down his contract, he'll be shipped out ASAP and thenmade to look a villain because he wouldnt sign a contract mainly because Ashley isn't progressing the team

I Loved it absolutely loved it last night. Atmosphere was cracking and the players put in a sterling performance, can't think of one player who played badly and let the team down IMO I've missed the atmosphere up in Level 7 but last night it was excellent, never heard the Man U fans once over the top of us, and the "Yaya Toure" and the Lech Poznan Jumping about was canny aswell, just looking over at the Man U fans and seeing them standing about with no response was priceless, I think the fans and players should be pretty proud to have keep the atmosphere up and the players to not hide away on the pitch and put in a decent performance
