    He has been one of our better players the last few seasons. He gets stick for his defending but he makes up for it offensively, especially having to do another man's work having Sissoko ahead of him.

    The England team will never progress if we keep going back to the same tried and tested players who have achieved nowt at international level. He's retired, move on. Which is something the media never seem to be able to do regarding his retirement.

    Surprising as Pulis normally plays 4 CB's across the back 4 so not sure how much game time he'll get.

    Looking at the difference in team sheets from being at home to Reading and away at Bristol I think we'll see Rafa continue to set us up more tentatively away from home and more attacking at home. He'll have core set of players for both games and switch around a few others eg Colback for Shelvey etc

    Not quite sure why Elliott is getting the stick he is in this thread. His form the past 6 months has been better than Krul's in the past 3 year.

    2-0 to us. I think we may find it easier away from home as teams will feel the need to come at us and we'll be able to counter act on that. I sti think we'll piss the league and people are panicking way too early about us.

    As we get further into the season we'll realise that the league quality is shite in comparison and we'll be tearing away by Christmas as all the other teams are capable of beating one another whereas we should be streaks ahead of them in terms of quality. It will start to show these next few games.
