Reason I prefer COD is because i'm not really a hardcore FPS fan or anything. It's much more catered for shitmunchers like me who enjoy a great (if corny) storyline, a game thats easy to learn but hard to master etc. I've never gotten into BF, although I totally understand why loadsa people prefer it. CODS like the Fifa, more for casual fans and BF is like PES, for real fans etc. that's how I always see it

Rubbish. Within reason, obviously. That goes without saying though doesn't it. What is reason though? Quite rightly it is an offence to hold a placard saying 'Death to Muslims', however, I don't believe that it's an offence to hold a placard stating 'Death to British Soldiers'. There needs to be a balance. Anyway, the country has gone protest mad, no need for half of them. As long as it's a peaceful protest i'm not too fussed. Thing is, if we just ignored those idiotic Muslims who do that sort of shit like burning poppies the situation would be a lot easier. Just turn our backs to them and don't cover them in the media etc. Same with those who say Death to Muslims, they want us to make a massive fuss of it, so we feed them by making a massive deal.

"OMG HE HAS A POINT AGENST DA ENGLISH BEIN TOTES AWESUM, WAT A PRIK:p" The sort of reaction the English exceptionalist, Daily Mail reading, patriotic whilst not being able to spell correctly wanker will give to this (decent) article. What a fucking embarrassment our countries becoming. Aye, those arseholes who can't spell are an embarrassment. maybe he's a Guardian reader ? What an absolutely dump point. I read The Times the few amount of times I actually buy a paper (mostly use BBC News online/other online sources). No I'm not anti-British, no I'm not anti-soldiers, yes I'm a student, no I don't worship Che Guevara or any other shit student stereotypes. Now shut the fuck up and remember that on the 11th of November we remember the people that died in war (both for Britain and against Britain) and that they died to make our country free. Free for student types to read the Guardian, masturbate over Mike Ashley and think Freddy Shephard was a prick. your post was hardly highly intelligent, and my reply was tongue in cheek, you daft shite. Don't tell me to shut up re 11th November, I'm as aware of it and what it means, if not more so than most on here. Especially those who make excuses for people who demonstrate against Britain and our own security services on our own streets. Wasn't meant to be highly intelligent, nor do I think I am; tongue in cheek in one post or not, still had enough shit in this topic to show exactly what I meant. What does making excuses for anyone that demonstrates against Britain have to do with it? Do you want everybody to suppress people that think differently? That'll make everybody that died happy won't it... do you mean I want to suppress those who call somewhere else "home" and heckle our troops on our own streets in our own country, knowing they can't fire back at them ? I'd tear gas the lot of the fuckers and drop them into the English Channel. I don't agree with what those people do, but we live in a liberal country and i'm proud that anyone can say or do whatever they like without being dropped in the English Channel, and that's why i'm proud of the troops that allow us to live freely. Not because i'm a jingoistic wanker going about singing Rule Britannia thinking we should colonise the world again

I can't imagine that we'll get Sportsdirect blue red and white as an away kit. More likely to get a pink donnay shirt, some black LA Gear shorts and a pair of Hertha Berlin socks from the 05/06 season.

It hasn't made it to 2011 without issues, how on earth is it going to go another 5 years without issues. Stop beign a fanboy DEADSPAN

Maybe I meant England, Wales, Scotland and Norn Iron, in which case it was a grammatical error instead of a spelling one .

Agree with the fans thing Barton, college hall of famer you all adore and he goes out like this, over 400 wins in college football (12 games a season not including Bowls!) is bloody amazing, and even though I hate Penn State, the guys been a legend for the sport, massive shame it had to happen like this.

Feel a bit sorry for Paterno himself, undoubtably should have contacted the police about the situation but it's always one of those things where you don't know what to do... Sandusky on the other hand is an absolute disgusting piece of shit... only retired from that childrens hospital thing he ran last year if I remember correctly too :|. Thing I don't get, he was being looked at like 10 years ago for child abuse, retired, you'd think he'd fucking sit back and enjoy retirement, not sodomise young boys in a changing room . Don't think it'll mean that much for Penn State though tbh, not as if they're gonna get chucked out the Big 10 or anything is it, or has anything new been brought into play? Don't really think it's up there with Heysel as it stands, unless new things come into play. the NCAA is disgustingly corrupt, that's for sure, probably the most corrupt sporting organisation, up there with FIFA, it's a close call. It'd be absolutely brilliant if this was the start of a chain of events that sorted the entire thing out once and for all. Interesting to see how the Nittany Lions finish off the season, currently unbeaten in Big 10 play, could go on to win the Championship (which will put them in the Rose Bowl). Somehow I can't imagine them being allowed to play in the Rose Bowl like.

I think it's better than Battlefield...

It's not one or the other though, is it? Mike Ashley's way of spending won't all of a sudden amount in the FA Cup on our doorstep. I want St. James' Park AND a Cup in my lifetime, it looks like i'll get neither the way it's going. Okay, we're 3rd, great. Will we stay there? We've gotten lucky and I think we'll finish 7th, does that mean that Sports Direct Arena will be showcasing a Cup winning team when Newcastle won no cups when they came 2nd/3rd/4th? It's important because it's been the home of Newcastle since the 19th century, it'd be like renaming the Houses of Parliament the "Coca-Cola Commons" and the "Lloyds Lords" because it gives a measly bit of profit to the government.

Hold my hands up, never been a fan of Ashley, but I had started to hush up and think something may be happening for the good here. I admit I was wrong in this last month when I thought "Shit, maybe Ashley does want what's best for this club." This 3rd position atm is a nightmare in disguise

I'm a student who hates a lot of students, i'm also an Englishmen that hates an awful lot of white British idiots. Doesn't mean I hate students or the British though, does it? Most people on my course and right-wing or centrists, I think the whole "Students are left-wing" bullshit is exactly what you expect to read in the Daily Mail etc.

I'm not quite sure how to take that having 4 cats.... Don't worry, it only works for people I hate. I'm not gonna start stalking women much older than me purely based on their pets. Yet.

I've hated people... then noticed they have a cat and grown a soft spot for them. Mindset of a 50 year old single woman

That's me trying to look for a challenge in the premierleague.com fantasy football Toontastic league .

Agree 100% with the Help for Heroes thing as opposed to poppies. I think that injured soldiers do deserve better treatment. But I think there's MUCH bigger causes than giving our charity money to Western men who signed up knowing that what they were doing was a condition of the job. Children who don't have any opportunities/diseases etc are all much more important causes, knowing that they had the option to do another career choice etc means I don't like the Help for Heroes fascists (these are much worse than poppy people). I bought a poppy today off some 80 year old ex servicemen and think that the Poppy Appeal is important, but people over-romanticise modern soldiers (ie everytime someone dies you'll get a facebook status saying "Why are people caring about 'insert name here' when our soldiers are dying overseas!") as if a soldier death is worse than a civilian death and that there are ranks of death... Also i'm not too sure whether I want a poppy worn against Spain, if it was a nation that was in the World Wars there should be a mutual remembrance about it but it's just playing against a nation that had nothing to do with it makes it seem a bit...weird. Surely they can just donate money to the Poppy Appeal without having to have one on their shirts in a friendly match!?
