  1. Oh yeah, I meant to mention, the music is like a Eurovision national final from somewhere musically bereft like Switzerland. CT might like it though.
  2. Yep, and it only tells you how long (duration-wise) to run for each time, not how far or how fast, which builds up your stamina without having you worrying about targets like that.
  3. I've always been a faj-dodger, etc. etc. Let's put it this way; the last times we've been out with the lads, we've had a curry on Brick Lane, German Bratwurst and that most balanced and healthy of all meals, club sandwich and chips. Do you really foresee me being the mealtime party-pooper? (Don't tell CT I've managed to lose weight while still eating fairly unhealthily, mind. The consequences could be tragic.)
  4. http://www.24sata.hr/show/poslastica-za-nase-navijacice-lovren-srna-i-decki-skroz-goli-371495 The Croatian squad are fairly relaxed.
  5. And yeah, the fella does Parkrun on a Saturday so I'm going to try and start getting along to that. A slower but gradually longer (erk) midweek run then a good bash at a 5K Parkrun at the weekend should be a decent combo. As much as anything, I want to get onto doing some weights as well, but building up the jogging stamina has basically taken up all my time so far. Not complaining though.
  6. Lost another 3.5kg or so since this post, mainly because my body's actually playing nice and letting me exercise at long last. Knocked out a 5k run today, which might sound like nowt (even I used to do far longer pre-booze, and lord knows I'm no athlete), but it's been a right slog getting back to this point tbh. I was so out of shape I ended up starting from scratch and following the Couch To 5K plan, which I can definitely recommend for anyone who's sedentary and scared shitless of actually moving their body. Builds you up nice and slowly from the early steps to a point where you're jogging fairly easily. Still not necessarily enjoying it, but still.

That seems unlikely. We are his social media, anyway.

Seems unlikely, the web is right about everything!
  10. Went straight in the recycling, don't tell me it was actually worth a look (even for the wrong reasons)?
  11. Speaking of beards, I disapprove of this list. Some of the examples on offer barely constitute bumfluff. http://www.buzzfeed.com/mattbellassai/the-hottest-bearded-men-of-the-world-cup
  12. Reminds me of the Barenaked Ladies.

I wouldn't go without a microwave in my kitchen either, I just wouldn't warm up some beetroot in it then use that as "evidence" that roasting doesn't work even though I didn't actually like the microwaved beetroot. Damn. CT is good at this.

If you read back that wasn't the argument though, CT just moved the goalposts until it was.

So in summary, roasting beetroot doesn't work because you can microwave fish. I, for one, feel duly humbled.

No wonder Wolfy disappeared again in the face of such wilful WUMmery. The poor fella just couldn't compete.
