  1. TGU has been going on, which usually results in some cool videos and meet ups. I liked this. The contemporary Squiers are unreal for the money, so glad I took the plunge to bring mine out here rather than anything else.
  2. https://8values.github.io/results.html?e=78.0&d=84.6&g=70.4&s=87.6
  3. Got a nice tax refund this week so I've ordered myself some Dimarzio Illuminators to go in my Contemporary Tele and a Victory Kraken Preamp. Be a while til I get them as they'll be making the trip with Mrs A's parents out here in August but I am real excited for these! Edit; And in a nod to a genre completely unsuitable for either of those pieces of kit I added this to my Dark Side of the Moon tattoo (which you can just see peaking round the corner of my skinny arm) earlier this week.
  4. Need to get this done ASAP, Real Madrid have put our entire new first 11 up for sale.
  5. Mid season break being introduced in February and replays for FA cup 5th round matches have been scrapped.
  6. On a budget? Are you suggesting that we'd be after him with Ashley still as owner?
  7. Aye the offside rule is being more and more exposed by it imo (as are some others) we all know its been shite for years. Honestly as long as I can properly remember the offside rule has been badly worded and awkward to follow.
  8. Well thats a matter of opinion. As you well know my opinion on it is that it is a good idea, the technology is as good as it needs to be even, but that doesn't mean it isn't poorly used in some cases. Thats normal for something new though, the rules may need to change to give a clearer implementation, the information given in the stadiums needs to improve etc. Refs can't keep up with the game properly these days and they fuck up far more often than VAR does, when its done properly it reduces errors and can bring the game back to the actual competition between two teams, reduce cheating and might actually help us get some penalties or an opponent sent off for once. But it'll need some severe, consistent catastrophes before I think #noVar is the right way to go personally. And Danny Baker is a prick so I'm automatically less inclined to see his point of view favourably.
  9. Ah has he been re-hired by the BBC again after comparing an african-american womans baby to a chimp?
  10. Release date announced, 16th of April 2020
  11. Aye thats not really the point I was making
  12. How about Mourinho instead of whoever Ashley would get in when Rafa leaves because he isn't under contract anymore?
  13. Its actually better than that, less than a month between these two...
  14. We started up as just a group of friends, none of us have played a lot before, I think just the DM and I had played at all the rest were brand new. Its going through a really big surge at the moment thanks to shows like Critical Role and a lot of great online tools to make stuff easier to manage. I heartily recommend having a go at it.
  15. Went to Mt Lyford and then on to Kaikoura this week to celebrate our third wedding anniversary. Took a little Kayaking trip in kaikoura out to the Fur Seal Colony on Point Kean, which was absolutely stunning.
  16. Well they're probably put off by you too.
  17. Remember where you heard it 5th
  18. Yep! This has got a real buzz going between a few friends here since we've just started playing D&D (I know...)
  19. Because he hasn't sold yet and if it falls through he loses the manage for nowt.
  20. I'll get a round ready. Mrs A and I are having our first really serious conversations about whether we're going to stay here or not long term. It's a more realistic option than it seemed it would be when we first came out tbh.
  21. I'm all in on enjoying this for what it is, a possibility. Fuck knows if this goes through, if it does he might be no better than ashley, but for now I can amuse myself talking about the possibility of signing Juan Mata or whether I'd take Arjen Robben at the club, its better than nothing!
  22. I wouldn't turn him down but I wouldn't be particularly excited over Robben. Hes incredibly injury prone, has a volatile personality and is 35. He's a big name but I wouldn't trust him to deliver much of anything for the money he'd cost.
  23. Robben I could do without, hes really injury prone for one thing. Mata is brilliant though, I'd love to have him.
  24. There are some massive flops/old injured guys/people who didn't cut it at the very top/not wanted at their current club players moving around this summer. Mata, Robben, James, Coutinho, Sane, probably Ozil. I am looking forward to us being linked with all of them!
