Dropped by our manager here yesterday that we all probably lose our jobs if a no deal goes through and the WA leaves us in a very dodgy position also. The guys here haven't been paying that much attention to the shambles so far but I'm willing to bet, based on the flurry of questions I got thereafter, that they will be doing now! BAU.

Reckon the most likely is that the lack of defensive work that lead to Rafa selling him will mean the likes of Schar or Ki will have tons of time on the ball without being pressed and they'll be quite able to dictate how the game flows.

That Pedal Show/Andertons have been putting out some really good stuff lately. Two crossovers "The Captain meets Dan and Mick" and (for the particularly nerdy) Dan building the captains pedalboard. "The Captain meets..." for Tom Quayle & Martin Miller who are just insane players and Richard Shaw from Cradle of Filth who came across as a really lovely bloke. TPS have a video with Jonny Kinkade refretting two of their guitars (again, this one for the tech/gear nerds tbh) as well as Understanding Gain with Josh Scott from JHS pedals and last fridays episode where they got hold of a handful of awesome vintage amps and having Devin Townsend on for an episode as well (I love Devin)

AFCON moved to be in July a couple of years ago. Losing Ki is a blow though. Just had a look at the details and he could be gone for fucking ages! Tournament starts on the 5th of Jan and he can be called up 15 days before that (we're in negotiations with the SKFA on that front) their last group game is the 16th of January and the final is the 1st of February. So we're losing our best performing midfielder for our busiest period of the season. Balls.

I love the excuses made for mourinho in that conversation. Usually something along the lines of "ah well he looked good surrounded by other great players at Juve/France" either referring to Vidal/Pirlo or Kante/Matuidi As if manchester united are some tiny club who aren't able to build around him with good players (meanwhile signing Fred for the bench at 50 million this summer) whilst Pirlo was free and Vidal was 10 million euros.
