I have experienced it, won't say played since it was work at the time. Great game though, the multiplayer was brutal but tons of fun.

I'd be surprised if it dropped further than that, 230 is really cheap. I've got a Huawei Nova 3I which is a relatively budget phone and is superb, not sure if its available in the UK though.

So a full console, semi-remake of pokemon yellow comes to Switch this week. Some mechanics have been changed to make it more "new player" friendly but the core experience will still be in there. Pokemon Go compatibility and drop in couch co-op are both in too which is pretty cool. Definitely aimed at bringing the younger market into the Pokemon game universe, the more recent ones have gotten somewhat complicated with layers and layers of mechanics built up over the 20 years the game have been coming but I'll certainly be playing for the refreshed nostalgia hit and introducing Mrs A to her first Pokemon game.

We got a PS4 recently and are working our way through the exclusive catalogue that interests Mrs A and I. She went for Horizon, I was in for Bloodborne, I hadn't planned to play this for a while since she was doing but watching her play got my attention. This game is fucking outstanding, I'm not even that far in (just done the proving for any who have played it) and its blowing me away.

I'll get to this fixture one day... I think we'll win this one, Burnley have been more dreadful than we have this season. They look a shadow of the team they were last time out.

That seems to have become harder to get than it used to be, Mrs A got some last year no bother but they wouldn't give it to her a month or so ago to fly out here.

I'm basing it on having worked in QA for one of the biggest game publishers in the world and on having friends who still do for a decent variety of studios. Testers outside the games industry can indeed be paid well, I'm basing that on working as a developer for a regional building society who pays their testers well, so well in fact that they make around twice what I did in my above role. You can get overtime, many didn't, I'm basing that on their testimony to journalists in various articles that have been written in the last few weeks. They could leave aye, jobs are easy to come by these days though. Games industry QA is largely made up of people just starting out, not yet qualified, young and easily taken advantage of. You might think its fine, more power to you, I don't. RDR2 is apparently really very good though, yeah.

AH is right that QA will be getting paid very little. Most of the Rockstar staff are salaried and weren't getting any more money to work the hours they did. It not being surprising or new doesn't make it wrong or shit, I'd like things to be better because they don't need to be the way they are and I am voting with my wallet.
