In a real grind at the moment, getting calories up consistently is catching up to me a bit, haven't been properly "hungry" in a week which makes getting enough calories to keep gaining difficult. Actual workouts are going well, taking a week next week though since I'm away for half of it and I need to get over a bit of an injury that I've been making do with.

Its nice to have something in common with the players.

He joined in October 2021, there's been one transfer window since and West Ham didn't sign anyone in it., he has absolutely no track record in that job at all He was Man Citys chief scout for a decade before that mind but lets be honest, has he been going anywhere that Pep or Begiristain weren't telling him to?

Is that his agent? Changed his tune hasnt he

Lets calm down a bit, I'd give you that if he was doing it for several months but dropping a load of weight quickly when you first start is pretty normal, especially if you've replaced a lot of shit habits all at once.

👍 Make sure you get a plan in for maintaining before you get there!

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

The "elusive" Newcastle United chairman. Mate, he was having a kickabout on the pitch after a match not that long ago. -
When you look at how good our first choice defence was in the second half of the season it is unbelievable how little money it took to do it. Dubravka was less than 5 million, Schar was 3, then weve added, Trippier for 12 million, Burn for 13 million and Targett for 15. Ridiculous value for one of the leagues best defences since it was put together.

Need is a strong word But yeah theyll still do the same job, especially if youre getting van haleny, might be a ballache to pull over the locking nut when you want it though

I prefer the HH version

Looks like we've kept fun88 on for one last year.

Who's slagging him off?

I didn't name any names, if you want to infer that, it is up to you!

My assumption is that it is finances and where they need to spend. They've just won the league with this young emerging central defensive duo, but they're about to lose Frank Kessie on a free which is massive for them.

According to this Milan are close to signing Renato Sanches and are backing away from the Botman deal as a result. Also links Spurs and Man u to Botman which is the first time I've seen anyone other than Milan and ourselves linked to him.

If you're not taking the offside into account then its definitely a penalty, intentionally or not Schlotterbeck bring Kane down in the box as he's going for the ball. But thats a massive if because Kane was offside when the ball was played. -
I think there are summers past where we wouldn't be as challenged for Nunez as we are right now. City buying Haaland and Liverpool very suddenly seeming to potentially lose important parts of their front 3 have forced them into the striker market before they would've liked to go there. Thats shunted priorities of loads of clubs, especially the ones we're going to be competing with in a few years, as well as the expansion of the champions league (season after next) essentially guaranteeing the top 5 in England a CL place meaning the clubs chasing that spot can start to take some more risks in the market knowing that it is less of a gamble in a year or two. It seems like we'll pay 50-60 million for the right player but I can't see us continuing to chase Nunez who is wanted by higher profile teams or Osimhen who has a 100 million pricetag etc. now that we have Ekitike in (presumably) as that would mean we be looking to have 4 senior strikers in the squad, one of whom cost fucking loads and would need to be an almost certain starter, it just doesn't work. I'd expect us to shift to spending our big money on the right wing with someone like Diaby.

The anti stats brigade will hate this one, but thought this was interesting regarding big Chris. https://theathletic.com/3346644/2022/06/07/premier-league-pass-networks/

Wonder why they didn't see/look at the offside before the foul, wasn't expecting it to be given after seeing the first replay. -
IP banned the lot, there is an update to do to the board software which will involve me taking the board down for a day or two, now that the seasons properly over I will look to get that sorted fairly soon, hopefully cuts down on the spammers but we do go through phases of getting a load of them.

Starting to consider posting Casey as a credible source a creche-able offence tbh.

Two years and three months after first applying, myself and Mrs A have been granted residency of New Zealand! Absolutely massive news for us that opens up the possibility of us just staying here forever now. Huge news and a huge weight lifted wondering if it was ever going to come through for us.
